PA - Philadelphia shootout, multiple officers shot, 14 August 2019 *Arrest*

In relation to various reports of suspects, I think it’s been chaotic and most networks have had to rely on “sources”. Taking everything with a grain of salt in regards to those details, ppd is rightfully too busy to make sure we have accurate info, as much as I would love that. Things also seem to still be fluid, they actually just noted conflicting reports on NBC. A lot of the video feeds r generic bc they did ask media to not go in to close in case suspect was watching it live.

Just moved media father away still. How many suspects not known. Police still trying to secure the area after almost 2 1/2 hours.

6 Philadelphia Police Officers Shot During Gun Battle In Nicetown-Tioga Section, Sources Say Suspect Live-Streamed Parts Of Shootout
At least six Philadelphia police officers were shot during a gun battle in Philadelphia’s Nicetown-Tioga section and rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, authorities say. Another officer was injured in a car crash while heading to the scene. The scene is still active where gunfire can be heard.

Sources tell CBS3 the suspect was live-streaming some of the shootout. The source says authorities are working to shut the live-stream down.

Both anchors broken up watching these poor little ones safely being evacuated by officers.
