Well, do you have a citation? Centre County does have IT people in all probability. There may be master "administrator" account, but again, it would not be anyone in the office.

Patty and and a secretary both had passwords and access so again....you are inaccurate.

There are obviously more than one IT employee who would've had access as well so I guess your only half wrong.

It is also likely that one or more ADAs had access to his computer in the event he was on vacation or otherwise.

Well, not many post "citations" for info posted here so.....do you have a citation for posting that no other in the office had access to his computer?

It probably was not PEF. In the 10th anniversary stories, DZ he and Chief Dixon talked to PEF in the morning, when DZ came on duty on 4/16. JKA was contacted by DZ after that, 11:00-11:30 AM, and that was discussed. Had PEF been able to provide assess, there was no reason for DZ to ask JKA about it after that.

He said one of the "clerical staff," but that may have been the county clerical staff (including the IT person).

I think the staff had their own computers and it wouldn't be overly necessary for any of them to have access to RFG's computer in his private office (JKA did not have access, for example).

Tracker, I look forward to your unbiased opinion on this. This question was posed for your response. Thank you

I think it is "probable" that RG was in Lewisburg. LE seems convinced RG was in Lewisburg. There appear to be witnesses that "claim" RG was in Lewisburg. I concede that other than the scent dogs alerting on a scent in the parking lot, there is no hard physical evidence that RG was in Lewisburg.

It is possible that you could join some of us in Lewisburg for a day so we could evaluate the area for ourselves? I would enjoy having someone along to act as a "BS" detector so the discussion is not one sided.

For the purposes of being fair and balanced, lets consider that RG never made it to Lewisburg, the mini was left in the lot and the computer was disposed of by "others", why did he shut his cell phone off while in-route to whatever destination he planned (assuming it was not Lewisburg)?

Also, how would they make it "appear" that RFG was in Lewisburg at, at least roughly the right time?

How and why, would RFG still bring his laptop and why would at least one witness see him with it in the Mini in Lewisburg?

I am trying to look at this through Super Smith's eyes lest I become too invested in any one theory and lose objectivity.

Bringing the laptop and shutting off the cell phone are both red flags, even if RG never intended to go to Lewisburg.

In all fairness, eye witnesses are historically inaccurate. I wish somone who knew RG on a business or social level had spoken to him in Lewisburg. I also wish we knew more about the trip to Raystown Lake.

I have been studying this case for years and have never heard LE quoted as saying "he" turned off the cellphone after the call to the office.

I may not remember it so hopefully someone has a link for this.

Thank you for being objective and fair Tracker. That's all I've ever wanted here and until a singular theory becomes overly clear for everyone I believe it only due diligence to continue to look at all possibilities.

Many have taken the opportunity to pin the Raystown trip as he was scouting out a place to ditch the laptop. I suggest that it was a recreational trip. It is no secret Ray liked boats and there is at least one pic of him floating around of him at a marina (don't know where though).

What witness are you talking about? I've heard a witness claim they saw him in the park reading a paper, moving the Mini around, standing inside the SOS, browsing the stores with a mystery woman but never a witness seeing him in the Mini with a laptop. That vantage point alone would be difficult for any eyewitness.

Somebody turned it off, prior to Lewisburg.

3-4 witnesses, including some at the Packwood House.

Proof??? I know the phone was found in the Mini in Lewisburg and turned off but have never heard the distinction that it was turned prior to Lewisburg. If that is the case then that adds weight to the possibility that he didn't make it to Lewisburg if that was even his destination.

You're last two posts are very vague, offer no reference or proof, and sound like your opinion which is fine but would be helpful if stated as such.

Cell phones, when turned on, still interact with the the towers. Had the phone been on, it would have been traceable to Lewisburg.

The cell was found turned off, according to Disappeared. We know it was on, because of the call. Hence, someone turned it off. :)

They are not opinion. 3-4 witnesses saw RFG across from the Packwood around "lunchtime" on 4/15. That was listed in the Renner's "By the River's Edge." It was also covered on Disappeared, and in an article "Gricar reward up to $15,000” by Mike Joseph, CDT, 4/29/05. The latter identifies a witness, Jennifer Snider.

Just for the record....eye witnesses are very unreliable.

Yep, a fellow poster reminded me that when Chief Dixon was asked point blank if Ray was definitely in Lewisburg that weekend he indicated "no" and that LE were assuming he was. Gricar being in Lewisburg could be the biggest false to this case and main reason 10 years later the case remains at a stalemate.

I understand why the assumption has been made that he was in Lewisburg but just want to point out it's very possible he wasn't.
