Maybe mourning in private... maybe they don't want to jeopardize the case... Coming out and saying it's MFH... well that usually means that your loved one is dead.

Again, this news was not new. Rather, new publically.

I am curious, what type of information could jeaprodize the case? With Halloway we saw and heard every possible angle being explored. Why dont we hear this from this case. What gets jeaprodized by putting forth theories?

HE has custody! Took the child away from NJ to NC. Now the kid is away from his relatives. But the truth is that even if her family pushed to keep him, he is the father...and unless there is some evidence of threat, mistreatment, incompetent parent ect, in a court of law, I think, a dad or mom, gets the kid.

DMV, wasn't there a recent death of a "patriarchal" figure in the cockroach lineage? I could have sworn I caught that, and I was hoping it would result in loosening of lips over there and a scramble for the reward$$$ Sort of like when the papa cockroach is away, the rest devour each other.
Am I correct about that death? or was it nonrelated same name coincidence?

Also....Big Rich was VERY well spoken on the news video. He did a great job!

I worked in LE in investigations. Trust me... disclosure to the public- ie suspects in what LE knows can and will jeopardize a case. Why would you let the defense see all of your cards? And unfortunately, some of those cards come from the public... so it takes some convincing not to disclose on the part of the families.

What specific facts do you want to review or need clarification on. I can tell you nothing I say is hearsay. And some of what I am throwing out is questions as I try to understand why some cases like halloway we hear about all the details of what is being investigated, who is getting spoken with regardless of whether or not someone is a suspect.

Given specific facts by the authorities is not what I am questioning. What took them so long to finally come public with the murder for hire theory is curious from where I sit.

DMV, thanks for posting the info that you know. I have always thought that this was a murder for hire plot, especially the truck was not located or seen on cameras of the bridge. I have followed this case since Rich and Danielle were reported missing. I had received an email 3 yrs ago and being from south jersey it just stuck with me. I did not know the cockroach has the boy in NC!! that must be hard for danielles family...the child may also be the reason for the Imbo's silence(maybe cockroach refuses to let them see him...who knows?)

DMV - from the minute I saw/read interviews with Dawn, Danielle's 'best friend' I was suspicious of her. Something just didn't seem right about her, very insincere and when I saw you thought the same thing that helped solidify my feelings about her. I got the vibe Dawn was jealous of Danielle, jealous of her looks, her friends, her singing, and especially of her husband. But the question arises would she really hire someone to kill Danielle just out of envy/jealousy? I don't know if you can answer this but if there any evidence to point to Dawn having an affair with Danielle's ex-husband or any evidence pointing to them having any type of relationship outside of Danielle? If she did have anything to do with it could she be delusional enough to believe if something awful happened to Danielle she could then move in as the shoulder to cry on, the doting motherly type figure for Danielle's child and eventually he will fall hopelessly in love with her - I'm thinking along the lines of Janice Soprano when she moves in on Bobby after his wifes death(if you watch the show).
Still doesn't seem like much of a motive to me on her part. From what I have read about Danielle and Richard it is hard to imagine someone would want to hire someone to kill either of them so that keeps leading me back to someone just petty and screwed up enough to do just about anything to get what they want.
Am I way off base here?

I get a vibe she is a NUT CASE.

Kings have gone to war for love. Kings and Queens have left their thrones for love. Motive is hard to define. Motivation to murder is sociopath behaivor. Murder for love? Why? Did Scot Peterson have to kill Lacey? Did OJ have kill nicole? Is power a motivator for murder? For very SICK and TWISTED minds, it must be. Look at all the threads on this website for missing people. Motive is not apparent to peeps like us.

My regret is the the website I had "richardanddanielle.com" is no longer up and that I dont have access to the content. I cant relive all the emotion. But when this all went down you could not imagine the dialogue that went on between all of us and the things that came out of Dawn's and Danielle's friends mouths. It was a huge rift. But I believe there were many many many assumptions that me and my possey thru out there that were worthy of consideration... and well, I was asked by certain authorities to back up and off. lol so I did and will.

There is a particular incendent that I was ranting about, pointing fingers at Dawn and company for not being forthcoming about the abuse and portraying Joe as father of the year. I called out to the crew running danielle's site that I found it odd that Dawn made the first posting on the site that said, Danielle officially goes missing. I bring it up because she posted that before anything was made official!!! I emailed the authorities and said as much. And after I blasted Dawn and co, they CHANGED THE DATE OF THE inception of the website!!! HOW ODD IS THAT and why would they do it? anyone's guess, but I found it odd.

How odd was it that she was at Danielle's house a few days prior to the weekend she went missing. She was so close but didnt know Joe was harrasing my cousin and Danielle? this is all old news and makes me want to vomit.

When my best friend was in a similiar situation as Danielle, I was as vocal as the day was long. Not her friends! A few of her friends blantanly were posting notes in support of Joe on Danielle site as well as on my site "how dare us " accuse Joe of abuse. For God sake it is documented that he threaten Richie and was abusive to Danielle. In any event, I find it odd that anyone who loves someone would stand behind an abusive husband. At the very best say nothing. Unless of course.....there was a motive for vindicating him.

How odd is it that her website has become a place to sell dawn's music, clothing line and whatever else. She fronts it like it is some angel network. I want to vomit.

And look, I am not accusing anyone. We are allowed to hypothesize here, right? So, I am responding to your VIBE. stinks when you smell it. Doesnt implicate her. But, if I were authorities I would be pressing hard against all of Danielle's friends. Bad things happen to people by people that are close. Maybe the FED's are doing it. But there are no rumblings of it.

Much time as passed and I dont want to get all worked up again. But there are many many strange things. All the matters is Big Rich and Marge are confident with the authorities. They are who matters here. Not me.

There is no logic here. The why is meaningless for those of us who are a bit more normal. You have to think like a nut to relate to any motive to murder. Off of my soap box.

I highly doubt it.

Evidence is evidence, and cases get talked about all the time - both on the internet and on shows like Nancy Grace or Greta VanSusteren.

I'm sure the main suspect(s) know they are the main focus of the investigation, so it's not as if it's all a big secret.

I just wish that this case would get more media attention. The more attention, the more likely that someone who knows something - anything - will come forward.

From what I know from other cases, LE often keeps certain details to themselves because they might need them once there's an arrest. I can't think of a good example right now but here's a bad one - they may say a victim was shot but won't tell you by what specific type of gun. That way, when an arrest is made, if the suspect opts to confess and knows the specific type of gun used, it's more likely that they've got their perp. They can match withheld details that only the perp would know to statements made by suspects. Also, a suspect that doesn't choose to confess could nonetheless slip and state a detail that hadn't been made public, alerting the police to the fact that they got their perp. (Like saying, "Well yeah, I have guns but I don't own a .38" and LE knowing that it was never stated that the victim was shot with a .38.) And if some nutball tries to confess to a crime that they didn't commit, (think John Mark Karr in JonBenet), they'll know that as well.

As for what type of information they might withhold and what could or could not jeopardize a case, I have no idea. I'm sure it differs case by case. I suppose that the best idea is to trust LE as long as you're confident that they're making progress and not just blowing smoke at you. But speculating is going to happen in any case that becomes public. LE can't control that and I would think that public speculation has helped progress a case or two through they years, either by providing avenues not previously thought of or by bringing more awareness to it. The more people that know, the more likely that someone that knows something will come forward.
