PA PA - Sabrina Kahler, 20, Erie, 24 Jun 2002

Hello, I live in Erie & I've been following this case over the past few years. I was only four when she went missing, but my aunt said she worked with Sabrina's mom back then and told me about the case. I have constantly checked for updates over the years, and it is so upsetting that the police haven't been able to find her after all this time...

I read that <modsnip - person not named POI by LE had a pretty concerning criminal history prior to when Sabrina went missing, as well as multiple charges after her disappearance too.

<modsnip> Have there been any leads at all? (I remember seeing a Facebook comment months ago about a woman saying she had tried calling with a tip years ago but got no answer, she was urged to try again and God I hope that she did).

I truly hope that you can find answers soon about where Sabrina is. She deserves justice, and her family and friends deserve answers.

Websluths was featured in a Vice youtube clip. So, I decided to check it out. I thank people for looking keeping info on this case. If there is anything more I can do please tell me.

My daughter goes to college at Edinboro (which is about 15 minutes from Erie) I follow their news a lot - they just found Human Remains in Titusville which is an hour south east of Erie Human remains found in Oil Creek State Park | WJET/WFXP/YourErie.com
I heard about this but, didn't look at the story until right now. I wish there was more info.

I also saw on Channel 4 news this morning in Pittsburgh about the remains being found. I wonder how old they think the remains are?

They keep that stuff under wraps.

Unidentified Remains March 2022

Its crazy to me how they find skeletal remains and then never offer updates. Have you heard anything about the body found on 4/20/22? In similar situations, they've ID'd remains with dental records in just a few days.
I don't remember things that way. If they were so similar I might even be conflating the two. I recall remains found by the hotels in Summit. "skeletal remains and then never offer updates" I feel this is true but, I am not sure why.

AFAIK, there's been no updates on either the Summit Twp remains (off Peach St, found by a homeless man) or the remains found in Oil Creek State Park .
I'm pretty sure they have not yet publicly said whether either person is male or female.

PA passed a law in February 2022 mandating that missing persons and unidentified decedents are to be entered into NamUs. There's been nothing in the news saying either has been ID'd but, as of this writing, neither is in NamUs.

either is in NamUs. *sigh* that sounds depressing.

PA is horrible at keeping the public informed. The number of murders that take place in Erie without any acknowledgment is absolutely terrifying.

Erie News Now has new information on an Erie cold case.

Det. Sgt. Craig Stoker, the D.A. and State Police are revisiting the disappearance of 20 year old Sabrina Kahler.

Kahler disappeared 21-years-ago, but investigators said she's not forgotten.

This is what Sabrina Kahler looked like when she went missing at age 20 and how she would look at 41 according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Detective Stoker, District Attorney Beth Hirz and State Trooper Todd Giliberto have reviewed the case, re-interviewed people, searched through scenes and data.
