Twelve years old!

Frankford is like the Wild West. If I get a chance I'll name the "kids shot in the last six months there".

Also we had a SWAT OFFICER murdered serving a warrant there. Veteran Officer couldn't even have a proper funeral due to Covid.

When I take the bus to the El......sheesh! Am I caught in the crossfire.

Twelve. Grade school. Outrageous. Never got to really start life.

Know this is Children's forum , but a man in his 20's was shot to death Thanksgiving morning.

In Frankford. War Zone. With a hospital within minutes of where these kids shoot eachother.

When I was young I thought America was the land of milk and honey. Philadelphia sounded such a great place. Of course I got this from the movies.
I used to wish my ancestors went to America instead of Australia. I am now in my 70'S and am so thankful that they came to Australia. I don't know how you can stand the wanton destruction of a once great existence. It is so heartbreaking that all these young kids are dying but that they are being shot is so unfathomable to me. May God look after all the good people of America, especially Philadelphia. MOO

A 14 year old boy was shot once in the chest and once on the back about 5:30 PM last night in the Olney section and pronounced dead at Einstein hospital.

This boy has not been identified yet. Perhaps someone can kindly link when he is identified?

Supper time. No leads. Hope it is O.K. I put this in Sadeek's thread. Two boys. Kids. Just kids.

Watching news right now they broke it down that there were 20 kids 12 and under murdered so far this year. Again I can't link. It's the station Ukee Washington is on.

Gonna give a "you go ahead sir" to the Olney neighbor who had the ***** to come out and say "Black Lives Matter? What's that? These kids are killing eachother"! It goes hand in hand with a meme: cop shoots somebody? Then you see people going bonkers jumping on a police car. Acting the fool. Drug dealers kill seven year old in crossfire? A virtual ghost town. Not a soul on the block.

They need to help these kids!!!!!!!

Honestly alot is generational. Then we have these awful times. Add in drug dealing. Turf war. OR kids this young? It can be a dirty look or a perceived one. Retaliation.

So sad. Just devastatingly sad. I have no answers. It keeps on keeping on.

Just had to say I'm a bit younger, Marg and often wished the opposite! You produce Peter Allen!!!!! I wanted to be Aussie. Then Hugh Jackman? No crime involved. Just such talented, charismatic, over the top talent.

Philly is a gorgeous city. It truly is. Just have to know where you are going. I'm being presumptious you enjoy a good film with OUR Princess Grace. I mean Monaco's Princess.
