State police were calling the death of a 51-year-old former Lancaster County woman in Perry County suspicious.

The body of Sherry Lynn Sears was found Thursday inside her Oliver Township home by her adult daughter, PennLive reported.

The daughter, Torrene Sears, told PennLive she saw bruises on her mother's body and her Mazda van was missing.
