Human Skull Found in the Woods in the Poconos

"CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A human skull was found in the woods in Monroe County, and crews spent the day searching for more remains.

Crews are working on Hypsie Gap Road in Chestnuthill Township where authorities say a hunter found a human skull last week.

Authorities say they are looking to see if there are any more remains in the woods.

Police are not sure if the skull is a man or woman, but they do say there is no danger to the public."

Human skull found in Poconos, state police search for additional remains

"Pennsylvania State Police officers spent Wednesday searching a wooded area in Chestnuthill Township, a week after a human skull was reportedly found in Monroe County.

State police said the skull was found on March 20, according to WNEP, and more than 20 people spread out across the wooded area Wednesday as authorities expanded the investigation.

Does anyone know any more information on these remains found.Gender,how long they have been there ect...
 
Remains identified as those of Richard Kimock, a 52-year-old man from Chestnuthill Township. He went missing in November of 2017.

Remains Found in Monroe County Identified

"Using dental records, investigators now say the remains are those of Richard Kimock, 52, of Chestnuthill Township. Kimock was reported missing in November of 2017.

Investigators are still trying to determine how Kimock died."
