Circumstances of Recovery: The decedent is found in a vacant area in southwest philadelphia just off Lindbergh Blvd.near the airport. He is severly [sic] burned and charred that he is unrecognizable. Age and race are also difficult to determine. He may be white or asian. He has fine straight black hair at least 2 inches long as evidenced by some charred hair still visible on the back of the head. All of his clothing was destroyed in the fire, however, some remnants of charred clothing is described below. No tattoos are visible due to the condition of the body.Autopsy revealed a stainless steel surgical plate approx. 2 1/2" on the right forearm (radius).

Circumstances of Discovery
The decedent was found in a vacant area at 8600 Gibson Place, just off Lindbergh Boulevard near the airport, in southwest Philadelphia by a man walking his dog. He was severly burned and charred. The autopsy revealed a stainless steel surgical in the right forearm, 2-1/2" long, inscribed on the side "BIOMET A117 55-0925-05 61mm/5Loch" (see photo).

Andrew Chapman matches UID age range, height and weight. He disappeared one week prior from Ohio. If race was difficult to determine due to circumstances, his appearance could possibly be viewed as white or Asian. No mention of a surgical plate implant but very few details are provided.
