Search continues for missing Ridgway resident

The Daily Press published the newspaper article posted. However, the version available online (link provided) is a truncated version that does not include the information about the other people he had contact with that night. It is the same staff writer and published on the same day so I wonder why those details weren't included in the online version.

I'm not sure if this would give us the go-ahead to discuss those details here.

The family/girlfriend reported that he was not answering the phone that night from the time he left the house. However, it is now reported that he had contact with "several" others that evening, into the next morning. This would indicate that he was specifically avoiding contact with the family/girlfriend. Why??

From what I've gathered, he, his GF, and his parents were visiting a sister in Beechview when he left at approximately 10;45 pm to 11 pm. Not sure where exactly his sister lives but from what I can tell, beechview to the riverfront on 18th street is only about a 15 minute drive. So where was he from 11 pm until 3:38 am when he was seen on footage making a left onto 18th off carson?

Oh I see that’s not the same article I seen. It was posted on his Girlfriend’s Facebook, said an article she wrote for the local paper. However it’s now disappeared. Everything was the same besides that one paragraph about Tom being in touch with two people that night.

Could be a long shot but I found multiple cameras on buildings overlooking the trail. If he traveled on foot westbound on the trail under the 10th street Bridge then those cameras could have picked him up.

I’m beginning to think someone else may have brought the van back to Southside - without Tom - and left it by the river.

So, where is he? Did he connect with someone in the Brighton Rd area, or near the Wharf?

Considering all possibilities, here is one theory.
There has been talk of him having had “demons” in the past. If he was having a relapse, the late night trip could have been to meet a connection.

I hope LE is looking into any known trap houses in the area. Sadly, he could have overdosed and be laying inside one.

I was thinking the same in regards to the vehicle. Police apparently have footage of the van turning onto 18th off Carson but I doubt they can actually see who is driving the vehicle since it was dark.

I would like to know at what point did his phone stop pinging? Has that been said? I agree if this is a relapse he most likely overdosed, depending on his drug of choice. If he’s into Meth he could be off on a binge somewhere. That stuff is wicked and would definitely cause some mental issues.

I'm really hoping that the police saw the Google Nest Video Doorbell at this property that was only about a block away from the vehicle. And if so I hope it retained video of that night.

A family member said in the interview that they did get footage from nearby cameras but it wasn’t clear if it was Tom driving, or if there was more than one person in the vehicle.

Thanks! I literally just watch videos and read news articles, look for pictures and then I go on Google maps, activate 360 street view and start looking around.

You definitely need to stick around on Websleuths! There are people with "different" skills on websleuths. It's my favorite part. One guy is amazing at seeing an item and finding the exact item to identify it. Another, amazing topography maps. Your skill..... amazing!!! Hi, i just learned about this site and thread for tommy. I am his girlfriend! We do not have any new updates but ill continue to follow any ideas some may have. I only request not to be asked the same question over and over, and i will assure you all everything has or is being investigated! We are a month into this and I like to think we have come up with every possible thing to check, search, and get records for. Im willing to give info, in hopes to get other ideas or tips but im sorry i cant handle stupidity like i have in the recent past! I will pay attention to this thread, just please be patient with me.
