There's additional details as well as some anecdotal info.

*****,
I am currently working on an unidentified body that was discovered on November 6, 1992 in the brush / overgrown weeds along State Route 18 in North Beaver Twp., Lawrence County (just outside the City of New Castle). The body was a decomposed male that was wearing: a blue nylon ¾ length parka type jacket with red quilt lining, denim jeans, white shirt with thin red stripes, brown Hush Puppy shoes, and long blue socks. The male was initially described as approx. 60 years old – approx. 5’08” – 5’10”, 150 lbs. The skull was then examined and the age was changed to approx. 30 years old. Estimated date of death was 2-6 months prior.

There was a male matching this description seen in the area in January 1992. This male told a witness that he was trying to get back to Struthers, Ohio. Another witness reported dropping off a male matching this description in the Enon Valley area (which is between New Castle and Beaver Falls).

In 1992, the skull was examined by Dr. SOBELL, a Forensic Odontology. Dental was entered into NCIC. I am trying to verify with Dr. SCANLON that the dental is correct. I do not have a body or skeleton for DNA. Nothing that I know of right has been retained. I am still working on it.

I was wondering if this case sounds familiar to you. If not, maybe you can send to your network to see if it sounds familiar. I will be placing what I have in NAMUS when I have completed my investigation.
Thanks – If you have any questions please call me.
