I’m not sure who you were quoting there, but as I recall, it was reported that the son moved to and currently resides in Florida. I could be mistaken.

Those are quotes from the WNEP story. In that story it says - Police tell us Morse’s wife and son still live on the property.

Police again search missing man’s home

Earlier that morning, before the investigation at the home reconvened, WBRE-TV reported that an ambulance was called to the home to tend to a 28-year-old man who was taken to a hospital.

A Facebook page called Bill Morse Missing posted on Monday that “it now appears law enforcement is very close to making an arrest.”

However, law enforcement couldn’t comment on the status of the investigation when questioned by the media, citing the ongoing investigation.

The investigation, at times, has involved in upwards of 50 law enforcement officers from local, county, state and federal organizations. FBI agents, some of them wearing T-shirts that read evidence response team, the Pennsylvania State Police Mobile Command and police dogs took part in the examination of the property, combing through the buildings on the land and the brush and woods.

At times, the investigation resulted in the narrow two-lane Hollow Road being closed to traffic and pedestrians, blocked by yellow crime scene tape.

Troopers said they also searched other locations in southern Luzerne County but those locations were not disclosed.

Burn Barrel removed from Morse Property

Eyewitness News has obtained video footage of what appears to be a burn barrel being removed from the property. Police had previously been focusing on that burn barrel on the property earlier in their search.

I can’t help but wonder why this wasn’t done over a year ago after he went missing.

I don’t know, it’s too bad they didn’t but maybe LE just received a much needed break? Hard to say.

It sounds like someone could possibly be at a breaking point judging by the early morning medical emergency.

Piece of evidence removed from Bill Morse’s property

Monday morning, EMS and police responded to a medical situation involving a 28-year-old male at Morse’s home.

In the afternoon, the investigation continued with a second search warrant. This time focusing the investigation near a stream. Our cameras captured state police taking photos of that area.

Hours later, a tarp with what appears to be forensic equipment was left behind with the metal drum or burn barrel next to it.

More than 12 hours later, the barrel and equipment were removed. Crime scene tape laying on the ground is the only thing that remains.

That’s where the investigation stands right now. As for those search warrants, they were approved by a Luzerne County judge and remain sealed by state police.

Breaking News: Arrest Made in Morse Homicide Investigation

(WBRE/WYOU-TV) Breaking News out of Luzerne County. An arrest has been made in the Missing Person/Homicide investigation of William Morse III.

Morse’s son William Morse IV is now charged in connection with the homicide investigation.

Morse went missing in June of 2018, months later his death was ruled a homicide investigation.​

A press conference will be held this afternoon. The I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick will have the latest beginning on Eyewitness News at Five.​

SUGARLOAF TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Troopers have arrested the son of a missing man in connection with a homicide investigation in Luzerne County.
