Chelsey Judd, 22, was arrested after a child abuse referral was made by the Blair County Children, Youth, and Families about an alleged incident of a five-year-old taking meth, according to a criminal complaint.

Police noted that the alleged incident happened sometime between March 9 and April and that Judd had custody of the children during that time. The child also told police that people would come over to her mother’s house to smoke meth while she and other children were there. On one alleged occasion, she remembered another adult telling Judd to “get off the meth and keep care of your kids.”

She was remanded to the Blair County Prison after being unable to post $200,000 bail.

Her preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 17 before Jones.
