Recovered/Located PA - Yosyp Potrohosh, 90, may be confused, Upper Moreland Twp, Montgomery Co, 28 Sept 2022

Police are searching for a missing person in Montgomery County.

The Upper Moreland Township Police Department is searching for Yosyp Potrohosh, a 90-year-old male described as:

• 5 feet, 10 inches
• 160 pounds
• Blue eyes
• Gray/brown hair,
• Wearing blue jeans and a blue zip-up sweater.

Potrohosh was last seen in the area of Mason's Mill Rd in Upper Moreland Township on Wednesday at around 1:00 pm.

Police believe this person may be at special risk of harm or injury, or may be confused.

Anyone with information on Potrohosh is asked to contact police immediately by calling 911 or the Upper Moreland Township police at 215-657-4700.

UPDATE 9/29/22 AT 8:55AM: Yosip Petrogorsh remains missing at this time and the investigation is on going. UMPD asks that anyone with a camera security system or trail cam in the area of Masons Mill Road check their footage for signs of Yosip. If you have any additional information, please call UMPD at 215-657-4700.

Hello searchers. I've attached a graphic of the area I covered searching for Mr. Petrogorsh yesterday afternoon. I focused on the wooded area north of the park, as the noise from the turnpike and lights might have drawn him that direction. I also checked under all the bridges and most drainages. Much of the area around the Pennypack Creek is near impassable.

There was no active searchers when I was out between 1pm and 5pm. Beth, at the Upper Moreland Police department was helpful, but didn't have much information other than what was posted in the MEPA.

The temps are dropping and rain is moving into the area. If anyone is searching and wants more information what I've covered, hit me up in messages.
