Smit's version is ridiculous. He has an intruder garroting JB after she screams (which would take some time),then hitting her on the head w/ the flashlight.Yet he fails to mention where the flashlight was found.
JR's is just as dumb as well. What intruder would take the time to latch the WC,put a chair in front of the door of the room, then flee out the window, even putting the grate back in place????

Wait...not to mention....wiping down the flashlight BATTERIES!!!...

First off, JonBenet had just been out for several hours around dinnertime at a social function were food was sure to be served. How could the kidnappers be so sure that JonBenet hadn't been snacking the entire time she was out, leaving her so full it might even cause a tummy ache? They didn't care about JBR having a tummy ache. How could they be that positive that she'd be hungry that they made sure to work a fruit snack in the comfort of her own home into their plans? The fruit snack was for two to three days in the car, IMO.

And why feed her there instead of in the car? Why take the time and risk to have her eat in the Ramsey house before leaving? Why stop and dish it up in a bowl belonging to the family at the family's breakfast table, increasing the chances at being heard and caught by god knows how much? Pineapple in bowl was probably in the basement before the R's even came home, so the whole scenario you describe didn't even have to happen in order for JBR to eat or be fed pineapple.

Why wouldn't they just get her in the car and take off down the road and then hand her a container full of pineapple - if she was even hungry enough to want to eat at all? Nobodys handing JBR anything. Her hands would probably be tied. It makes absolutely no sense to take such a crazy unnecessary risk's like feeding her at home when there were plenty of other options. I also find it hard to believe that people who would break into a house and get a kid out of bed to ransom and/or molest, bludgeon, and strangle would even care whether she got something to eat before they left or not. But people who wanted to kidnap JBR permanently would care if she was eating.

As for the Happy Meal, I was suggesting that the kidnappers pull into the drive-thru *before* they went to the Ramsey house, and then get JonBenet in the car and *then* hand her the chicken nuggets and fries - not stop by a McDonalds after they had her in the car and were heading out in the annals of history. It's called pre-planning for a trip, adults do this for children all the time, and anyone who cares whether she eats or not would realize how much safer it is to feed her after they get her out of the house and are driving away than while they're still in the house with her and her parents could wake up at any moment. Jesus.

You make it so much harder than it has to be. People feed kids in the car as they're heading down the road every single day.

I was previously sternly accused of not answering questions put to me, so I've tried to answer your questions in blue above.

If you're gonna kidnap a kid and RUN- grab a box of cereal bars or something like that. I mean, a bowl of pineapple?
Unless the "small foreign faction" were some Hawaiians. (no offense to any Hawaiians who may be posters here.)

They didn't care about JBR having a tummy ache.
They wouldn't care if she got something to eat before they took off with her, either.

The fruit snack was for two to three days in the car, IMO.
Please. JonBenet's going to be eating pineapple in the car for two or three days? Just pineapple, or were they gonna switch up to something else at some point? How were they planning on keeping fresh pineapple from getting old and spoiled for two or three days in the car - a cooler full of dry ice? Maybe they had a basket full of fresh pineapples with them and were planning to slice them up and serve them as needed while on their road trip?

Pineapple in bowl was probably in the basement before the R's even came home, so the whole scenario you describe didn't even have to happen in order for JBR to eat or be fed pineapple.
Why would it be in the basement? The bowl was found on the breakfast table. There is no evidence to indicate the bowl had ever been in the basement at all. Why would they bother to bring it back upstairs and set it down on the breakfast table again if they'd already taken it into the basement? Why not just leave the bowl down there - or if the kidnappers were that fastidious, why didn't they stop and wash the bowl and leave it to dry on the counter?

Nobodys handing JBR anything. Her hands would probably be tied.
There is no physical evidence on JonBenet's body that indicates that she had been restrained while conscious and alive. No bruises, no abrasions, no friction burn, no defensive wounds, nothing - just a piece of cord that was tied loosely over the cuff of one of her shirtsleeves.

They also could have fed her by hand in the car, if she had actually been tied up while conscious and/or alive, just as you suggest they fed her by hand in the basement. Why take the risk of feeding her in the house when they can do so after they've left? Why would they even care if she got to eat before they left?

But people who wanted to kidnap JBR permanently would care if she was eating
Sure, if they don't want her to starve to death before they collect the ransom or before she serves whatever intended purpose they may have for her - but that doesn't mean they would take on the ridiculous risk of feeding her at home before they get her out of the house when they have all of the time in the world to feed her after they've disappeared with her.

I did my best to answer your questions, but you seem to have more and more 'run-on' questions for me that I wont bother keeping up with, since they seem rhetorical.

IMO, that's because you're finally starting to see how your version of events fails to hold up to common sense and rational thought.

There's no reason to risk feeding JonBenet at home when they can feed her in the car, if they care that much about her eating as they abduct her.

And I am indeed guilty of writing run-on sentences. Sorry about that, guys. My brain thinks in run-on fashion, and it kinda seeps out in my posts. I try to adhere to rules of grammar and punctuation in the interest of remaining as coherent as possible, but I am a very chatty girl. The longest sentence I've written recently was 85 words long (and yes, it was about this case.) :D

Your responses make perfect sense to me. Run on sentences or not you can see the logic and the truth in them. If Holdontoyourhat does not wish to respond further I think its because HOTOH has run out rhetorical answers to the logical deductions you have offered up:clap: :)

First of all...I have holdon on my ignore list...so you posters out there....please alert me if he answers this question. I have asked many question...but he can not or will not answer them. So, I will break them down for him (or her).

Okay...sooooo....intruders break into the Ramsey's home while they were at the Christmas party...right?? And waited for the Ramsey's to return. So how did the intruders know how long the Ramsey's were going to be gone? How did they know that they were going to have enough time to write that RN? How did they know that the Ramsey's weren't out grocery shopping...or maybe John had gone to get gas, and Patsy was in the shower...or Burke and JB were at a friends house and would be back ANY minute?? How did the intruder... ...know that the Ramsey's wouldn't just walk in on them at any second...while they were writing that two and a half page RN?? How did they know that NOBODY was home? If they saw the car leave...and it was dark...(it gets dark around 4 o'clock in Colorado...in Dec. I lived in MT...two states up)...then how did they KNOW who was inside the car? How did they know that a relative of the Ramsey's wasn't STILL inside the home? Or the housekeeper?? OR A DOG??? How did they know that the Ramsey's had a burgular alarm...but, by george...it didn't work, because it had been disconnected?? How did they know that when they were looking for a flashlight... ...that the Ramsey's wouldn't suddenly appear from upstairs....or come back from getting gas?? How did they KNOW how much time they had.....to be able to move so freely around in the house? Looking for JB's size 12 panties...the flashlight...the pen....the paper. Going upstairs to look around and find JB's bedroom...so that they would know where to go to kidnap her. I mean...the Ramsey's could be back at any time...ANY TIME! And again..thats a big, old house....somebody could have still been there...in the shower, for example. My question is....in case you didn't get it.....is HOW DID THEY KNOW???

For that matter- the Rs could have already left for their trips- the "intruders" would be waiting 10 days! (That's OK- there was plenty of pineapple to subsist on).

We all know the answer, right? (except Holdon) it's all a moot point-because there was no intruder.

LOL...yep, that would have been one heck of a long wait. They might have came back and found a skeleton under their bed. I mean...that pineapple would have only lasted SO long, you know.

Almost all of your questions have the same answer: the intruders somehow knew their plans for the evening. Is that impossible?

Holdon, I have officially removed you from my ignore list. Thanks for finally answering my questions.

I have one more for you...

How would members of a small foreign faction...know their plans for the evening?? How would they know how long they would be gone?? No, I don't believe its possible....its just too far fetched...too much of a stretch.

he's only repeating what JR said in DOI...that 'somehow' the intruders knew what the R's plans were.
Add to that they would also have known the dog wasn't going to be there, the alarm wouldn't be on..etc..yes,it's just too much of a stretch of the imagination for such a simple, convenient roll- it -all- into- one -ball explanation.so much of the IDI theory incorporates this attitude, even the scientific, forensic evidence. But it just doesn't work that way at all.
(I still have him on ignore, btw).

Eavesdropping for a day or two or more, they would know everything the R's were up to.

Eavesdropping how? They were "foreigners", remember? Don't you think they'd be noticed peering in the windows? And as you seem to feel English was not their first language, listening in on phone calls may have been confusing for them.

I'm sorry, I forgot that only LE, who have spoken English since birth, are the only ones allowed to use 'countermeasures and tactics.'

That's OK, Holdon. We all forget stuff from time to time.

Eavesdropping? How? You would think that the neighbors may have noticed if some foreign dude(s) were standing on the outside of the house, with their ear pressed to the window. He would have had to use a ladder if he had of eavesdropped by listening from the top floor. That just makes no sense.
