I suppose it depends in what context you take the word briefed.Maybe they went over with her what she was allowed to say legally,to me she didnt sound as if she was repeating something she had been told,she wasnt hesitant or stumbling over her words and she seemed honest and sincere.

What would be the motive for 9 doctors/parents covering up the death of a child? It is interesting to me that people think it would be that easy to persuade that many people to do that. I do not know anyone that would.

I agree Emma - though there are people that do think they are all hiding one big secret like sex charges , child abuse or god know what .

All I know it would have to be something pretty big to risk being charged with an accessory to a child murder / dissapearance .

what stood out for me (and the bbc made sure we spotted it) was Gery was talking to his friend the same time as the man walked across the road with his child, the point of the fact was that Gerys friend would have also been loking up the road the same time as Tanner. going by the bbc they both were only 50 yards from the top of the road.

I haven't tried to watch the show online yet.Readinging your post lakes the first thing that popped into my head is What if Gerry was blocking his friends view on purpose :silenced: .

I only see a couple of people that think the whole group had something/know something.Most people only think the McCann are involved or 1 of the parents and 1 or 2 of the group.

well we will just see how this reconstruction thing works out.

In response to myself (!!)- I would also like to add that even if they were friends with him it makes the whole senario even more ludicrous IMO. So not only have (Kate, gerry?) convinced 7 people to cover up a childs murder, but also the prime minister?! It sounds like the plot of a bad TV movie to me!

Can you imagine the field day the Press would have if there had been even a hint that GB was involved somehow in a cover up of anysorts - It would make his on the election look like a PR triumph .

The alabi timelineas the McCanns want us to beleive stands , that is why it would be important for them to "brief" JT. The fact that GM or Wilkins did not see her or the bundle man will not change anyones mind if they beleive JT is being honest.
