The woman followed her to the baby clothing area, where Amy looked for socks.

“What kind of mother doesn’t have socks for their baby?” the woman asked.

um, what an intrusive !@#$%^&*!

these are the kind of people who impede an investigation, rather than the help they imagine they are giving in their misguided minds

That's just plain stoopid imo... Intrusive but stupid. I expect all kinds of mothers find that they need or want to buy socks sometimes.... No mother was born with all the clothes they'll ever gonna need for all their children.

:floorlaugh: I was. All three of my children were born with all the clothes they'll ever need. And I was a virgin too. :P

I knew as soon as I saw Kyron's picture that he and my daughter looked a lot alike...
I actually made the decision to carry a copy of her birth certificate with me.
I also carried baby pictures of my two kids together and the doctor's contact information.
I always had a Kyron flyer anyway too.

We did get questioned a couple of times, in different counties about my tomboy daughter who could pass as Kyron's sibling.
Both times we were in the store, both times she was dressed like a boy and both times it was rather easy to handle.

Even though our situation was rather painless... and really made me more grateful they were looking than anything...
I still convinced her to dress like a girl when we went to the store. I just didn't want to continue dealing with it.

I only had the issue once in each county. There is no excuse for this to happen repeatedly. :twocents:

Wow, some people need glasses. That baby does not look like Lisa. Stoopid should hurt.

I think the chances of people actually recognizing "baby Lisa" are slim to none because she looks like a generic baby. And frankly I doubt baby Lisa is any longer with us at all. And touching someone's child is absolutely crazy and should not be allowed at all.
