Hi mesnowmom.I have not been following quite as closely as some of you, so I apologize if this has been addressed.
Is it true that she has been ordered to serve the original 45 days now, instead of 23? If so, I don't understand why the judge would impose the full sentence, seemingly based on the fact that her attorneys, shrink, parents, etc. managed to get her out. It's not as if she broke out of jail. Even if money, influence, fame, whatever got her out, why back to the 45 days?
Btw, I really could not care less either way. Just curious.
The judge has always ordered 45 days. That has never changed. It is the jail and the sheriff dept that run the good time -work time program at CA jails. If the inmates behave and do work, if assigned, they can get 50% credit on their time. that is just standard due to overcrowding. It is typically up to the jail. The judge does not have say in that ,I do not believe, or if he does, he isn't preventing it.
