Paris Hilton to serve time

Well if something isn't done about the judge having the power, as it was stated last night on TV, what's to stop the warden from releasing the likes of Peterson?
Murderers and DUI/drug offenders are different worlds. We are talking apples and oranges with prison(peterson) and jail (hilton).

I vote this "Best Post of the Day", JB!!!!! hehehe :D

Truly a Good One!!!

Missed it, absolutely would agree.

Oh, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze, this is Paris.

She got her sentence cut in half from 45 days, to 23 days, before she ever stepped foot into jail, for good behavior, because she showed up to court the last time.

yeah, she showed, late, but they rewarded her for just being there..

This whole debacle with her has been a joke from day one and those other inmates should be irrate, they dont' get the same treatment. Nothing makes her special.
Just to clarify. She didn't get her sentence "cut". It is SOP in LA County to get 50% credit for good behavior.Everyone is eligible for that. If she were to have gotten in trouble in jail, she would have been held to the full sentence.

It's not even about the DUI anymore, first time offenders whom were pulled over, not involved in an accident, have very few rules to follow. It is breaking those basic, easy rules is why she is here. Twice. That's where it got big and bad legally for her. But worse for any other shmuck whom does it.

You all quit ragging on Paris for being late. It is hard to decide on an outfit to wear to court. Demure enough to show the judge how 'innocent' you are, sexy enough to catch his attention. It must show well on TV. And what shoes should she wear? (sarcastic comment)

Bottom line is, "She still DOESN'T GET IT"!!!

She STILL thinks she is ABOVE the law.... :snooty:

Well, I guess she won't be showing up anytime today. I doubt she has anything in her closet that qualifies.

Honestly? I do not think the regular Joe would have gotten 45 days. 30 maybe, serving 3 to 15.
They gave her a harsher sentence because she is high profile and there is a need to bring this sort of lax jail business to light. The overcrowding is a major issue her in CA, with LA County being particularly bad. it is quite a bit better here in Orange County. Here, she would have been in for at least 27 days for certain on a 45 day sentence in a min security facility.

JMHO of course.

BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA!!!!

Seriously, you know she's home getting her hair and nails done. It's been a few days without a touchup....

It was said on FOX that she had already been credited for 5 days served. Sunday, right before midnight was 1 day and Thursday morning was another day. So, she's already down to 18 days. If she goes back today, which if she does, it's looking like she'd be close to that midnight deadline since she can't even get out of her house, today would be another day. Then, if she's released again in the early morning hours of her release date, that's another day. So, that would be 15 days in the hokey! I wouldn't want to spend a day in jail, but that's much better than 23, which was already much better than 45!

IMO, they gave her a harsher sentence because she kept acting like the rules/laws didn't apply to her. "Suspended license? So what... I'll drive!"

is there going to be a live feed of this? I wanna see mamma hilton get thrown in for showing her 🤬🤬🤬 too lol.

I'm not sure, but I think you just attempted to force me to combine math with reading into one mental activity, and I am from the South... That's not a promising suggested activity for we Southerners...hehehe...

yes, you get a full day credit for any time during day that you spend in a CA jail.
If you are booked at 12:01 am on Monday and are released at 11:59 pm Monday you get credit for one day served.
But, if you check in at 11:50 pm Sunday and are released at 12:05 am Monday, you would get credit for 2 days served.

No, I am referring to a regular Joe that did what she did. This is a harsher sentence than MOST.
But with that said, it is what it is and being released is just wrong.

thank so much!

it's not letting me download the plugin, so someone please post the updates for us that can't view!

This is truly a mad house.
so now I wonder if it really was rescheduled for noon.

I am also hearing that Delgadillo was the one that argued for her to appear in court, not Sauer's demand?...so who knows what th real deal is.

Don't forget the bodywax and surely her tan needed to be refreshed. Pariee has most likely been a busy girl! She hasn't had time to get everything done in the short time she has been out. The judge will just have to understand that!

The guy narrating for Fox news doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. he is truly ignorant.
