Unbelieveable that he plans to send a hologram of himself to preach at these campuses.

Does this not go to show just how out of touch with reality he is?

It seems like that would be even creepier! Of course it's just a way to make more money for himself.

The technology is pretty interesting though.

Note: this is just a link I picked off the internet. I have no idea what company he is working or talking with on this.

there are still folks in Louisiana who think 'brother jimmy' is the best thing since sliced bread. they believe it was all a set up and he is a godly man...

where is the vomit smiley?

:floorlaugh:

I live in Louisiana and think he is still FOS! I also have friends and family in Baton Rouge that feel the same. In fact, I know of no one who would give him the time of day.

JS should be scared out of his mind every time lightening strikes anywhere he is, IMO.

Ok, I listened to all of that and took notes here at the same time. I lost it all when I went to post, so I'll just go from memory.

He didn't mention Hope by name at all. He stated that he was not going to slow down because of his troubles at home. He said he's not built like that.

He wants to open 100 satellite campuses across the US in small towns where they will live stream him preaching. He is going to start a franchise school at the beginning of the year for people that want to run the campuses. He said he will hand pick the people from the school to run them. He has been contacted by a company from London? that has hologram technology so he will look real from the live stream.

At the end of next year he is going to start a online bible college so people will know their theology and not go out and preach crazy stuff.

He preaches about sexual sin and lost time and getting that time back. He's preaching Ephesians 5 and I'm getting the impression he is throwing Hope under the bus as usual and giving reason for why she won't be coming back.

He places particular emphasis on things that seem IMO, to point at Hope. I get the feeling he's talking to her to hurt her and also giving excuses for his own actions. I don't want to get anymore specific because I'm afraid I'll word something wrong.

This whole business of him wanting to start churches and 'franchise' them, and hand-pick who is the pastor makes my blood boil.

Our own congregation celebrates our 30th anniversary this week. Know how WE started and grew?

A group of Christians in several rural congregations were discussing the fact that the county seat had no independent Christian church congregation. They prayed about it for a YEAR, and took a step of faith. They left their own congregations (with the blessing of those they left behind), rented the gym of the old high school, and started meeting.

The men took turns preaching, and every dime that was not used for rent and supplies (Sunday School materials and the like) was saved in hopes of someday purchasing some land and building a building for the congregation.

They eventually grew to the point where a minister was hired. A minister who serves UNDER a board of elected elders. The members gave sacrificially- NOT to provide the minister with a mansion- although he is fairly paid- but to put up a church building built to SERVE our community.

And serve we do- others, not the minister!

THAT is how it's supposed to go!

Two women were sitting in the audience and the camera focused on them 2 or 3 times. They didn't appear to be very impressed with him. I wish I would have marked the spot so I could go back and take a second look and make sure I wasn't imagining anything.

Usually, they focus on people that are really getting into the preaching. This is going to drive me crazy now. Their expressions reminded me of how ours may look if we were sitting in the audience. I had to wonder if there was a reason for the camera focus.

I wonder if it was Swamp mama and prima.facie? :floorlaugh:

Thanks so much for taking one for the team and listening to Ron. It is very much appreciated and you deserve a prize for that.

I found a few interesting things last night and will post about them later when I have the time to put it all together. Nothing on where Hope might be, just a few things I came across in my reading last night.

Ron sure puts the 🤬🤬🤬 in apostle, doesn't he?

No word from HOPE? I wished you all heard something.... :(

This is Ron's school for people that want to run one of the 100 satellite campuses. You have to submit an application with a $100 to be considered. You also have to send a photo of yourself with the application. The 11 or 12 week course is $2,500 and then from what he previously stated in his sermon, I'm gathering he will hand pick people that take the course to do the satellite churches.

anyone wondering about Hope anymore?

I look at the family's twitter accounts now and then and the kids have removed their mother from their follows....and pretty much act like everything is just as normal as ever.

first thanksgiving w/out her...? Christmas coming up....

have we all been unnecessarily wondering and worried about this adult woman? is there really 'nothing to see here....' ?

I have a family that has the mentality of "out of sight out of mind"....and it seems that the carpenters are the same way along with their followers. NOT one friend of hope's has written on her twitter "I miss you!" "hope you are ok" and so on. not one. wouldn't you do that for a friend in [alleged] trouble???

I keep looking for some sign of her or someone who seems to care. I wonder if it's the don't question the "almighty" Apostle Ron mentality.

I saw someone post on the RWOC fb page that they were going to do a sermon for Hope & Ron at their church. That's the only mention of Hope I've seen lately.

I did see a tweet from her daughter-in-law today which said "look what my mother-in law just gave me! Yaayyy!" The picture attached is a new Louis Vuitton purse. Maybe Hope really is OK but just laying really low.

I don't know, the whole thing is really strange and I've been worried about this woman. Seeing that tweet made me feel a bit better...she seems to be alive and has access to cash or credit card.

Phew! That makes me feel better! Maybe she left him, and he is trying to save face! :floorlaugh:

This whole thing is beyond strange to me. You'd think at least one person would come forward to defend Hope. Maybe they all do believe as Ron has sermonized that she is "crazy and promiscuous", but not a single mention of any positive contributions she's made to their church community over the years? No one has been encouraged to send Hope cards or messages of encouragement and support. If she really is able, as HoneyWest's post indicates, to shop online for Louis Vuitton, you'd think she could read a card. I have a hard time believing that this unnamed "facility" is what most of us would consider legit, just as I have a hard time believing that her admission would qualify as what most would consider voluntary. Maybe those who are closest to Hope and know her best are simply those who are most dependent on Ron financially. All MOO

well that makes me think that this is one big scam....as I thought waaaay long ago.

no way that someone soooooooooooooooooooo messed up like ron said and in a rehab facility could go out and buy a super expensive LV bag! and for what? thanksgiving?

also J was arguing with someone on twitter that her mother is fine and the family is fine and its nobody's business what is going on. she was literally arguing (and being rude about it) with someone.

however, I thought J was her daughter. so J's husband is actually the carpenter? the reason I thought that was that someone on twitter literally asked her how her mother was doing. im confused on that part.

I don't know what he would talk about if there wasn't some kind of "event" going on with one of his family members. It does make me wonder how fabricated his sermons are. His story wasn't "she cheated on me" or "she's having mental health problems", it had to be the worst case ever seen....after she bought those Krispy Kreme donuts.
He probably did the same thing with his son. The sympathy game to increase those donations.

The thing that confuses me though, when I consider it might all be a scam they are in on together, is some of the things he says when he preaches.

For instance when I listened to his sermon on the 17th, he picked out parts of scripture from Ephesians 5 and placed emphasis on sexual sin. He would pause and raise his voice.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians+5

BBM are parts of emphasis

3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a] 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.

11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.

It also seemed like he either had a different version or he twisted up the scripture. It appeared that he was trying to justify his reasons for leaving her and justify the reasons for what he told the congregation about her.

For instance the bible says this is what I am suppose to do. Again, he pulled out points, placed emphasis on them and also added his own words.

It reminded me of a controling, abusive spouse that wanted to hurt her as much as possible. It's like he was twisting the knife. Like he wanted to ruin her.

I can see various reason why he might want to do this. One being she simply decided to get out of the relationship and it would affect him financially or him wanting to get back at her for something she did do. Either way, I see signs of an abusive man.

Does anyone think she would willingly go along with this if it is a mutual scam? I'm not being sarcastic, I really wan't to know what others opinions are.
