:dunno:

It tells me that pages 81 - 231 are not shown in this preview. But the last sentences on the back cover says " And to my dearest wife, Hope, my ministry partner, my best friend, outside of Jesus, you are the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Thank you for all of the sacrifices you have made to be the kind of woman you are. I can't wait for the rest of my life with you".

Actually, no. I have absolutely no idea what is being said. I do agree, however, with comments suggesting it may be an auto-fill text.

"misfourtune box" = "worse case"

I found this excerpt from his book. Here is the link, look on page 77. (correction, it is on page 79)

http://books.google.com/books?id=8-...EwBTgK#v=onepage&q=ron carpenter 🤬🤬🤬🤬&f=false

Apparently his best fiend as a teen was a boy whose father was a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 dealer and had 10's of thousands of 🤬🤬🤬🤬 tapes in the basement which he "watched for years". Then he discusses the fact that Hope (if I am reading this right) was raped as a teenager. Ok so if she was raped as a teen, that can be a huge revelation, as well as his 🤬🤬🤬🤬 obsession during his formative years.

I just feel so bad for her. he just comes off as an pompous @$$. If I was her, i would want to escape too, and have a whole other life, as he described. The pressure he puts on her for the sake of his image and a "world renown evangelist" is unimaginable. he described that when he supposedly found out about her infidelity in 2004 that he had a panic attack, threw uo and slept in the barn

He claims that he courted Hope in a lily white, devout, saining-themselves-for marriage kind of relationship for over 3 years years before they finally married on June 23, 1990. For the next 14 years, he claims they had a blissful marriage. Then in 2004, on Easter Sunday, he discovered a “very different woman.”

“I went home to a person that for the next 10 years I did not marry and I had not known,” he said. “Many of you were here during that time, and you saw erratic behavior. You saw changes. I tried my best to hide them. I did not know what was going on, and I did not know what to do, but I knew I had great love for this lady.”

"Carpenter said they went through two years of “grueling therapy,” and he kept believing in a miraculous healing while she withdrew herself his church and stopped attending church. He admitted he didn’t know where she was most of those Sundays.

“What you do not know is that week in the therapist’s office, she confessed a five-year inappropriate relationship to me,” Carpenter said. “And I thought I was going to die. I about lost my mind.”

Carpenter said he had a panic attack later that night, threw up and slept in a horse stable. He knew he had a decision to make as a minister who speaks all over the world. He knew it was a public relations nightmare".

http://vinemag.com/after-multiple-affairs-pastors-wife-seeks-psychiatric-treatment/

So his big concern about his wife having an "inappropriate" relationship was his fear for what others would think and how it affected HIS image. Gee, no wonder she wanted a life and identity away from him. Who wants to live life on a stage, being judged by your husband and people from all over the world. Hell I wouldn't do it.

Run Hope Run, I hope you have a chance to have a life where you can shed that awful perfect stepford wife image and we can one day see you with a REAL smile on your face, casually dressed and living a life that YOU want without regard for how others feel you should live.

EDITED to add link to book where 🤬🤬🤬🤬 addiction is mentioned

A screen cap of page 79 with the story of Ron's years of watching 🤬🤬🤬🤬 as a teen. I can only imagine how that must have twisted his mind and his view on women and sex, especially when he was raised as a preacher's son.

Ron had the hotel remove the tv to avoid 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Wonder if he has no Internet connection to avoid the temptation of 🤬🤬🤬🤬?

self edit - by the looks of his activity on the www - ahhhhhhhhh-NO.

Can anyone local petition LE to do a welfare check? Like happened with the Scientology wife?

Someone did, but even so. Remember the welfare check Leah Remini put on Mrs. Miscavige? The police in theory checked in, NEVER SAW HER, but came back saying she was ok. Bologna.

I think Hope is dead. :(

Well, I'm sorry but that sounds like something you would do if you want people to notice that you're so godly that you don't watch 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Then you can watch it in the hotel room on your laptop.

Probably in his mind an inappropriate relationship is speaking to a man who is not a member of his church. JMO

If she is dead, this guy has a lot of nerve getting up in front of a congregation and preaching. I would certainly hope that her family would be screaming at the top of their lungs, if they haven't yet spoken to her and verified her well being. He certainly would know that he can't keep up that charade forever.

FWIW, I don't believe anything he says. There is nothing genuine about this man IMO. How can you in good conscience hold relationship seminars and preach to others how to live, when you don't live that way yourself. Especially, under the guise of religion?

They fraudulently misrepresented themselves, their relationship, to others for financial gain in the past, if his allegations are true and their marriage has been a mess. Now he is playing the victim to distract from his misdeeds.

I've seen it all in in-patient psych. and NO one ever says a " case" is " the worst ( of something, anything?? ) they've ever seen!!!

He is putting her down by using hypothetical words and things he THINKS the professional community does and says.
He's so wrong, I have laughed a couple of times. Man is talking out of his wrong end if you know what I mean.

You are so right! No one would be so unprofessional and negative about a patient or their care. Years ago (many years) men who didn't like their wives behavior could pay off a judge to put them in psych hospital for months. It doesn't happen anymore. But the 15 minute checks etc sounds like inpatient psych units. Psychiatric information (or rehab) is not to be shared with anyone. Nor does it last inpatient for a year. Something hinky is going on.

He probably couldn't help himself and didn't want it to show up on the hotel bill.

Ron Carpenter told WORD Radio Monday that his wife’s infidelity is only five percent of what’s going on.

“There were two distinct double lives. This is not a fling. Not an affair. There was a whole other life and culture and dress code and friends,” (Ron) explained.

ooohhkayy, so the "infidelity" was only 5% of it. And the rest was dressing differently and having friends that he didn't approve of? A whole other life and culture?
Well what can this mean? i am truly curious about these "friends" and what was so bad about them in Ron's eyes. I guess they were no fans of his and they accepted her without all of the judgements and expectations that Ron and the church had for her?

I noticed on Hope's Pinterest page that there were quite a few pins of tattoos. Maybe not what you might expect a minister's wife to have an interest in but certainly nothing horrible or scandalous. Did she perhaps have friends who had tattoos and didn't dress or behave as a devout Christian might? Could she have had gay friends and Ron didn't approve of that? I haven't heard Ron's stance of gay people or how he feels about them so i wonder. Does anyone know?

Other members of her family have tattoos - just saying.

And piercings.

I am fairly certain Ron has at least one partially visible tattoo on his upper left arm.

Regarding his opinion on homosexuality, in a word, he preaches that it is perverse. On the video Beginners Luck posted earlier today, near the end it is all about the obscenity of the 'practice' of homosexuality. The last several minutes the video is blocked so that all the teenagers (the group he is talking to) can come up and admit their foibles and be anointed and cured, etc without being exposed to the public by video.

I wonder if he is implying that Hope has multiple personality disorder? Unless she's on drugs, that's the only thing that could be the worst case that some doctor has seen.
