I've said it before....something is not right with his eyes......how can anyone stand to be around him? Creepy is not enough to describe them. I can't get past his picture to watch the videos. It's the stuff of nightmares.

I completely agree. The first time i saw him, I got a huge creep-alert about him. He looks fanatical or possessed or something.

I'm listening to his sermon from last night and he has covered the topic of telling the congregation how to pray for him and then he went on to the topic of how Jesus wants you to have money but you have to do these things... blah, blah, blah, give me money, blah, blah,

I have no idea whether H might be gay or not, but her own husband made it sound like that may be one of the possibilities. In looking up Pentecostal churches that are accepting I found a few. One in Texas. That really doesn't jive with his accusations of having a separate lifestyle, culture, and dress code though. Here's hoping she had enough and ran away instead of what he says.

It's that dress code and "culture" thing that got to me. that was just odd. Like she was running with a gang or went out in disguise. From what i hear, she was pretty open about when she went out and what she did. He certainly was NOT blind to what she was doing.

But i wonder what finally pushed him over the edge? Was it the tattoo? What was it. Cuz he knew for years and just did not give a flip and would even let employees or church members go if they objected to it. So he definitely knew. So why the big lie for so long???

IS HOPE HERE??!!

check out the comment at this site!!
it tells where they think Hope is and this person used to work at the church, so she says.

http://hopehilleycarpenter.blogspot....l#comment-form

She says check out the Living Waters Ministries in North Carolina. Hope and Ron have gotten counseling at that place for many years. The commenter says she is alive but she is in hiding.

Hiding from what though? Hope is now exposed to the average church member, and He's said the marriage is over and the Christian magazines probably don't have papparazzi out looking for Hope. Maybe it is being done to return somewhere totally restored and covered and annointed from on high in a few months. If she is suicidal and mentally ill I hope to heck that she's getting true help from a real psychiatrist. Non christian biased help.

In watching the posted video of the former witch with Ron and Hope in background, the lady claims to have had multiple personalities and demons. Scary. Baptists would just say Hope may not have been saved in the first place, but these people might try to pull a miracle. I'm not sure many of them admit to backsliding and Jimmy Swaggart nor the Baker's never fully recovered from scandals, so not sure why they'd do it this way.

because they are sociopaths and narcissistic and they would never go the way of swaggart and baker. lol

I am not convinced yet that hope is a victim of "sin"....im still on the fence on whether is she is victim of ron or a co-conspirator.

something has to give in the way of some information! ugh!

I also get a pedo vibe from the guy, sorry to say it but having been molested by a preacher well...he just reminds me of it.

Why would he tell the congregation that she was in a treatment facility in TX if she was really in North Carolina?

She needs to come fwd we need proof of Life.

Because he is a lying LIAR? :seeya:

But I think he just said "out of state". His son was treated in texas so it was suggested as a possible location.

This is what I get more than a gay vibe, mostly just a db vibe, though, but heavily pedo vibe and someone who doesn't hear "no" from women no matter how loudly they say it.

ETA- db= "d- bag"

  • #614
Or, as I say, he can't resist letting lies spew forth from his "lying liar hole"!
:floorlaugh:

It's like he can't stop himself. Like he seriously believes that people will believe him, after all he is an "apostle" and God has given him this gift. God ought to give him the gift of laryngitis ( or maybe that would be more a gift for the world?)

well watching hundreds of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 for years as a teen in a basement has that effect on dbs. The think all women just secretly want what they have to give and want to be dominated by him (or something twisted like that).

Some folks have a hard time distinguishing gifts from God as opposed to gifts from Satan for being such a good spawn.

OK, here is my mini rant. you may skip it if you like :)

My biggest problem with Ron is this. He seems to be a man who is wrapped up in his image, his pursuit of fame and his prosperity. NONE of these things are things that I think of when I think of a good pastor.

To me, a pastor is there to minister to people and his community. To be there, have real contact with them, work alongside them, to be an actual person there, not just to be some big rockstar on stage telling THEM how to live when you seem to be pretty far removed from the everyday reality of their lives. And especially when his own life seems to have an awful lot of issues going on that he is ignoring or flat out lying about because he won't give up the center stage.

And then selling them advice on marriage when he KNOWS his own is a sham. Oh but NO!

Most people in difficult times like these would ask for privacy, take leave and get their house in order, get right with God and their spouse and THEN they may be ready to get back into the rest of life.

But not Ron. In his own words to his congregation after his confession of the wreck of his life , he told them " Let me heal in front of you". WHY? It does NOT serve the congregation to have him and all his long simmering issues and his obviously needy, attention hungry personality to be the focus of it. It only serves him.

He needs to step down till he gets his life in order or just step away. He loses credibility with each minute that he continues to talk, preach and try to convince us of stuff when we now know that he has been flat out LYING for at least 10 years.

He should have just quietly took a sabbatical and handled things, even if it was a divorce. After all, he and Hope have been preaching for 25 years. Why wouldn't he take a few months or a year of his life and just devote it to his wife. Let her just be a wife for a year, not be in the public eye and living up to everyone elses expectations.

I don't think they really ever were just husband and wife. There was always the pursuit of a church and congregation driving him. He was never home and if he was, he was probably tired or still doing churchy stuff like calls, sermons, etc. i get it, it is a full time job.

I have put a lot of time into looking up stuff on this church and it's practices and I am appalled at what a racket it is. It's basically a lot like a multi level marketing scheme for God.

And this prosperity gospel? I don't like it. I don't have anything against people having money but I don;t like greed, I don;t like hawking products that people don't need to people that cant afford them.

From what i see, Ron will never have enough. he preaches, sells his sermons to other churches for a hefty price, has another business ordaining people (and expects them to go out and preach and still tithe to him, heck, you can even open your OWN branch of RWOC if you have all of the money, building, business plan and you PAY HIM. he expects those profits!! It's basically like buying a franchise.

All I can see is that it is NOT about God really. Not at all... And that is freaking sad and disgusting. It's a disgrace.

And i think Hope is safe and hiding out. It is all coming out now. I know she isn't perfect, i never did think that.

Just drop the microphone and step away from the camera Ron. before you do even more damage to your already very deluded and disillusioned congregation.

But I do have to thank Ron for the education in the prosperity gospel. It has been quite enlightening.

for not ever being part of this world, you have some great insight. great posts.

in my opinion, ministry should NEVER EVER EVER EVER be for profit!

now hear me out. my father did get paid. he left the mega church world, was a pastor in a few smaller churches (one being a horrible horrible horrible cult we fled for our lives from) and finally settled on a "charismatic Baptist" church were he was sr. pastor for about 15 years. before he became a sr. pastor, my parents toured the country holding seminars on "how to pray". the only income he got from that were donations from people. also the church would cover the cost of flying, rental car and a place to stay. but he never made a profit on it.

he was on the job 24/7. he got calls in the middle of the night from members asking for prayer. he held bible studies at our house weekly. we literally had people coming and going in our house (I hated that). he held weddings, did funerals, counseling, etc. I am not exaggerating when I say he did the job 24/7. during that time, we did not live in luxury. my father's salary which came from the tithing was not a lot! In fact, we nearly lived in poverty while he pastored. my brothers and I started financially supporting ourselves at 16 when we could work.

so at that church (the non megachurch) the tithing went to paying my parents for their pastoralship, building maintenance including mortgage and utilities, running various ministries like the youth ministry and a prison ministry and various functions we held for homeless people and shelters we donated to. members were NEVER charged for anything - not even the weddings and funerals my father did nor any conferences/celebrations, etc. but you can see why the offerings people gave to the church were needed. somehow the bills have to be paid in order to provide members with a building and various things they may want to participate in. all staff other than my parents and the office manager were volunteer.

but a pastor should never become RICH from his ministry, IMO. his services should be for FREE but I agree w/ a reasonable salary for the 24/7 job they do. other than a reasonable salary, once a minister starts getting rich, he is no longer in the ministry, he is in a 'for profit BUSINESS'. and sorry, God is not a business....but these megachurchstars are making him a business.

God is not a business...there ya go, that is the bottom line.

And my bottom line is that I believe Hope was/is in this just as deep and dirty as Ron. Wouldn't trust either of them with a red cent. As a Christian all these types disgust me, and I have a wrong/bad attitude about them. They are so slimy, slick and transparent that it amazes me that people buy into what they say rather than see through them.

That being vented, he still needs to be held accountable for where she is, whether she is dead, really in treatment, or in hiding waiting for a "miracle " to occur.

I am not convinced yet that hope is a victim of "sin"....im still on the fence on whether is she is victim of ron or a co-conspirator.

something has to give in the way of some information! ugh!

This is where I'm at. I've yet to see or hear anything that backs up Rons claims of her actions, but I've seen plenty to make me question how much truth there is in what he preaches.

The church teaches a sin is a sin, no matter how big or small. It's a sin to gossip, it's a sin to talk about the preacher or question his actions. They even have people sign a document stating they won't do these things when they become members. I would feel like I signed my soul away to the "leader". Scary stuff! They teach you not to trust the outside world because it is filled with evil. It boils down to control. Controlling the way people think and act. If you dare to question the "leader" or even think those thoughts you are going to hell! The more money you give, the more you will be blessed and prosper!!

I could never, would never want this job no matter what the financial rewards would be. It would mean I would have to be fake and preach what I don't practice. It takes a special personality (disorder) to do this job. I see no reason for anyone to want this job besides the desire for control and financial gain.

That leads me to this question. Is a person that has a job like this capable of leaving that personality at work? Or, would they continue to constantly preach everywhere they go? What happens when you challenge someone that has a head so big, it's ready to explode?

Sorry, my thoughts are all over the place....

I want to back up a little bit here to what Ron said. Please help me out and correct anything I may have wrong.

1. Ron says that it was a therapist who urged Hope to get treatment. (I think this was in the radio interview)

2. Hope goes to a out of state treatment facility in Texas. She has her own car and keys??? and can sign a form and leave anytime. (I'm confused about the car and keys thing and can't remember hearing that part. How in the world would she get her car and keys there if she was such a mess and why take the car?)

3. Hope is in isolation. It is the worst case ever seen, according to the facility. She is being checked on every 15 minutes. She will be there for a year. It was horrible and painful to see the condition she was in when they went to visit. WTF?? So did she deteriorate in the three weeks after she got there???

Sorry, this story is just so full of BS.

If the stories of her childhood trauma are true, then he may be playing on her weakness, using that trauma to further victimize her in front of thousands. Victims of rape will commonly blame themselves, question what they did wrong, feel dirty. These are all things that are not true, but it is very hard to get past these feelings for a lot of rape victims. Even if a person spends years going through the healing process, certain things can always trigger these feelings to come back for some. Is this what he's doing to her???

Other scenerio:

She is in on some scam to make more money with this story. That would take a very special personality (disorder), to stoop to the level of being drug through the mud, thrown under the church bus and then show your face again to answer to all the allegations Ron has made. It would have to be kind of like the "witch" story, from the link I posted above in the thread. Where BH miraculously prays over a woman that has been addicted to heroin for years!!!! and she is healed!! No withdrawals... nothing..... Yeah right!!

Why is this so complicated for me? Because they have publicly compromised their integrity, by living a lie, over and over again to the point where I can't believe a single thing either one of them would say. That leans more on him at this point, because of his words and actions. If she did remove herself over the years from him and the ministry, maybe it was because she couldn't live that constant lie and at times when she was involved, maybe she was coerced into participating. It may be that she just came to the point where she said, I can't do this anymore, I'm out.

He could probably with his power, isolate and withhold finances from her, to the point that she may break.

He could possibly pay her off and make her sign a contract, if he hasn't already, that she will keep her mouth shut.

She could leave him and the church and make big bucks exposing them, but does anyone think that all those mega pastors, with all their money and power are going to let that happen? Forty of them, showed up in support of him!!! Hmmm....I don't believe for a second, that they didn't give him counsel and there is a lot of damage control going on here.

IMO he is definitely wired to the max! The eyes are so far gone that he can't be fooling many people. He does something really odd with his mouth too.

Tn the video where he is speaking about his son I took a close up look at his mouth with my magnifying glass and IMO he has a white square of paper laying on his tongue!
That clears up how he can preach for an hour or more without taking another hit, why he wipes his mouth(when it's his forehead that is sweating), AND the odd short periodic cough? The drug draining down his throat.
Again IMO I believe it is highly likely Hope had a psychotic break from the drug use. She is hidden because her use would expose his use.
