PR, JR, and BR stated that PR was the first in bed that night (Police interrogations 1 and 2).

John and Burke stayed up and then John put Burke to bed. PR was aware of JR coming in the room but not fully awake. JR read a bit before bed.

JR was in the shower when PR woke up. (Per PR and JR police interrogations)

PR went to he bathroom, brushed her hair, put on makeup and the clothes from the night before. She had only worn them a couple of hours to the party - it's not like she wore them all day doing manual labor.

I am a woman, it takes me 5 minutes or less to put on my makeup. I wore the same jeans today that I wore yesterday. It's really not that deep.

John, however, was the last to sleep and the first awake. Maybe he was the one that didn't sleep that night?

That makes sense about John’s actions but you haven’t convinced me about Patsy’s. She was not your typical woman. She was a former pageant queen who was extremely focused on appearances. I can’t see her having a quick makeup routine. Nor did she have a hairstyle that could be just brushed out. I also can’t see her putting on the previous evening’s party clothes. She would’ve chosen appropriate to her, daywear. No, the only reason for me that she would still be wearing last night’s clothing would be if she never went to bed in the first place.

She wasn't going to see anyone from the night before. They were leaving at 6:30 AM to get on a private plane. JBR's clothing from the night before was also laid out to be worn again the next day.

The party clothes were black velvet jeans and a red turtle neck. Festive but really pretty casual.

Nah, I think she put the same outfit back on. And did a quick (for her 15-20 minutes) make up.

But without taking a shower? Patsy said in DOI that she wanted to take a shower, but her shower was "still broken" so she didn't According to John, her shower was fixed around Thanksgiving so that was wasn't true.

And Patsy was going to see people, they were picking up her stepchildren and her stepdaughter's fiance in Minnesota before travelling together to Michigan.

Burke's Little League coach reported that Patsy came to every game dressed like a "Vogue Model." Patsy told Pam Archuleta that she used to drive John crazy with how often she changed her clothes.

Coupled with the fact that years later she was still trying to explain why she didn't take a shower on that morning, I think it's safe to say that something kept her from showering and wearing fresh clothes. Maybe hearing John's alarm clock and realizing he was already up and about? By that time it would too late to remove her makeup, get in pajamas and jump into bed.
