Ummm. No. I think most people's instinct would be CPR, not "The air in the family room is a lot less musty than this old cellar, perhaps we should go there. Nope, the kitchen's got the best air. Come to think of it, the DINING ROOM is really lovely, especially since we've been burning the potpourri in there. Gotta stay out of the living room, the pine needles from the Christmas tree are using all the good oxygen..."

If someone is NOT BREATHING, you should think about helping them to breathe, not helping them to find fresh air. Fresh air is useless to lungs that don't work!

There are several noxious gasses which are heavier than air and settle at the lowest point. I'm not sure you'd want to administer CPR in an atmosphere that has little or no oxygen in it.

I too find the fact that JR carried the body upstairs odd. It could be that he just panicked and instinct took over and he just grabed her to get her upstairs. However, I find it expecially odd that he didnt just scream for the police who were right upstairs . The police were right in his house. Also I would wonder if that the police told him when they asked him to search the house for anything out of the ordinary if he see something to alert them and not to touch it. Just another odd thing...

I agree. It was odd that he didn't call for help. I think he was panicking and thinking she might be dead but they had found her. But contaminating the scene sounds like it came from a 'lawyer' or a 'pro'? just like the RN, it makes me wonder why indeed ST complained that phone records were not handed over.

Ok Rupert
Colour me stupid again!
Could you please explain what you mean by "just like the RN, it makes me wonder why indeed ST complained that phone records were not handed over."

Narlacat,
I recall the ST complained about the DA not allowing the turnover of cel phone records for that night. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. I think this was in his letter of resignation.

Perhaps the phone was used to help communicate what to do and what to write to make it look like a weird perp envious or vengeful sacked employee did it. If indeed those records were held back, then I know which side of the fence I will climb down off of.

Oh ok I get you now Rupert.
I'm almost positive the phone records were held back.
They were obtained at some point by LE though and if I remember correctly the records for the month of December showed that no calls were made.
A business man like John Ramsey would have lived on his cell phone, for him to not to have used it for a month is a little bit hard to believe and also I thought it was John Ramsey's cell phone that LE had used the morning of the 26th. I'm almost sure he said so himself.
I could be muddled, I forget alot....but someone will come along and let us know soon enough if I'm wrong!

Edit to add....Rupert, noone has come along yet so I went looking in this forum to see if there were any posts talking about the phone records.
You might find out a bit more there....the posts are on page 6 (near where it says New Thread) and the thread is titled "Evil people and things that dont fit".

Not until they are medically stabilized, do you even consider such a thing(unless in case of fire). I used to work in the medical industry and I have had CPR training. You do CPR on the spot, or call for help, then the person is stabilized with a back board in case they have broken their spine, you don't want to unnecessarily cause further damage, they need to be properly assessed, and that includes neurologically, as well as blood pressure and such. They might also have internal injuries that can't be readily detected by observation.

Then the technicians would wear their gas masks. There is a critical golden triangle of time in which to rescucitate a person. The more time passes without oxygen, the worse shape the person's brain and organs are going to be in. First you get the person breathing again, then worry about air quality, unless of course, you're in a fire, where your prior is first moving the person to safety.

I totally agree mjak, that's why I think he purposely carried her upstairs to contaminate the crime scene.
