They have confessed and left us clues many times and in many ways starting from Patsy's 911 call where she almost slips up and says "and our daughter's dea....."

Perhaps we should take JR's protestations seriously. Basically, he is outlining the events of the fatal night. Interestingly, he first states that "We went to bed." Pronouns are by their nature indistinct; so it isn't known to whom 'we' refers. The next step of "brutally beating" his daughter is curious. There is bruising on JB; although this is not the result of savagery. Perhaps this is really the blow to the head?

JR does not seem able to keep quiet. The more that he persists in talking about the case, the more suspicion he draws down upon himself. I am surprised that his public relations team do not advise him to cool it. The gentleman doth protest too much.
