The Judge is not to blame. The Judge is making sure that the proceedings are protected. IF she made her go forth today it could be an issue for later. by giving them the time she is protecting the penalty verdict.
She is doing a GREAT JOB!
I'm a little shocked that she (or they) are allowed to wear those t-shirts. But I supposed it would have required a complaint from Juan to stop it and, really, why bother?
Who thinks that Jodi did not want this trial televised?? Not me..
There is no way she did not want the world to see this.
I am praying for the Alexanders tomorrow. I think it will be brutal for them.
Even if you disregard Patti, WHY isn't the defense calling anymore witnesses? I doubt everyone JA knows has been threatened. Why aren't they calling her parents? Maybe because they don't want Juan to bring out the police interogation videos??
Honestly though it's a HUGE mistake for the DT to not call Jodi's mother to the stand. Horrendous mistake. Which makes me think that it's JODI who doesn't want her to testify.
I think she will go back to Estrella and have a "meltdown" sometime between now and tomorrow morning. Possibly even a suicide attempt.
Perfect!:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:
I keep getting this strange feeling that Jodi wants to be in court on June 4, that horribly fateful date.
Amazon is not an appropriate arena for that sort of thing. Amazon is for reviews of books (or other materials) only, not because tons of people watched a trial and deemed that no one should ever read her books so therefore they are going to leave bad reviews on that basis alone.Is there some reason to support ALV's book when she shouldn't be counseling anyone on DV? Out of bounds? I think not. Wouldn't want that woman even near my daughters!!
You know, just want to throw this out there...does anybody here think there is a chance that inmate Arias may refuse to give a statement tomorrow? Just a thought...
I agree with the intimidation argument. I wonder why the Defense did not then have them testify in chambers or not on tv and sealed. That would keep their testimony very private.
And whatever the reasons, we err on the side of caution and believe they felt intimidated. So I would understand it being done under seal which would remain so. Then as I understand it, nobody would ever see it.
Even Jodi's last up at bat to talk, at this point, they can go private with the entire end of the trial to help move it along. Then the sentencing can be televised.
