I get sucked in to putting TV on IS for verdict watch and get treated to an interview with Jose Baez. Ugh, and no thanks. I'll just check in here from time to time to get the verdict.

What the heck is HLN thinking. They take Vinnie off the pm schedule and then put JJose on IS. Wtf!!

Btw, hate all these typos I am doing this weekend as only have my nook!

Ugh. I just switched away from IS just in case they keep track of who tunes in when certain people are on.

So they can slap handcuffs on her? Could this have something to do with Matt's coming forward as a victim?

I also thought about that. I can't think of any reason she should be in the chambers. Maybe they are worried about Sandusky's health. Oh my!! lol

Okay, I recall this article-- it's very good. Reading through with my updated eye, this jumps out at me:

Police records — mentioned and requested from prosecutors in a motion filed by Amendola — show that a teenage Matt ran away in 1996. In 1994 the police were called to Sandusky’s home to investigate a theft of cash and clothing that Matt had been accused of stealing.

About four months after moving to the Sandusky home, Matt attempted suicide with a girl living at the Sandusky home.

It seems I had a couple of important facts wrong: Matt attempted suicide when he was 11ish, and ran away when he was 16...(is that when he began to insist NO? because a lot of the victims who came forward with charges had their abuse begin about that time, 1996).

To me, he looks about to have a heart attack.

A comprehensive article giving details on the closings and developments since the jury began its deliberations.

Sandusky Trial Rocked as Adopted Son Says He Was Abused, Too

http://abcnews.go.com/US/sandusky-trial-rocked-adopted-son-abused/story?id=16618378#.T-Stc5GWgw8

Toward the end, the writer gives Cleland's clarifying instruction:

...Judge John Cleland gave the jury some guidelines for its deliberations.

"It is not necessarily a crime for an adult to touch a child," the judge said.

"It is not necessarily a crime for a man to take a shower with a boy, wash a boy's hair, lather his shoulders, or engage in back rubbing or back cracking," he said. "What makes this kind of ambiguous contact a crime is the intent with which it is done. You must determine it is an act of lust."
