People Magazine - Caylee Anthony's Family Secrets

  • #281
According to George's interview with the FBI it was NOT gambling he was sucking into an email phishing scheme... big difference.
Cindy has shown her true "big picture" every time she has opened her mouth since July 16 2008. She has lied, manipulated and defamed anyone that dared to disagree or not go along with what she wanted.
I can't imagine what George must have lived with this maniac. It is also very obvious where Casey got her ways... the apple didn't fall far.
As for the source of the story none of us know the source, each one is guessing and accsuing Rick with not a lick of proof to justify the accusations. I must say if it were my sister acting as Cindy has I would have no problem giving the real story to anyone that would listen. My neice would deserve at least that much respect. For all we know this story has been compiled simply with information already out there in LE interviews and document dumps.
Why was it ok for Cindy to sell the story to People months ago... there was an exclusive months ago in which the Anthony's were interviewed do you really think the anthony's were not paid for all the lies in that exclusive?
Is there something wrong with George getting half of everything in a divorce? I divorced and I was the major breadwinner in our household... guess what my ex got half as well he should have we did what we did together and it took our combined efforts to maintain everything...that is what amarriage is two people working together in one way or another to achieve mutual goals.
why is everything just ca's fault ? while i feel terrible for ga feeling like he had to end his life that doesnt make it ca's fault he couldve left her years ago .. he chose not to.. you saw the ca on the media not the one before all of this ever happened we dont know that this source isnt repeating what we have all said on here .. cuz that is what it sounds like to me how do we know whoever it is could be reading here ? they probably are and imho i dont think its ok for ca to be paid for anything either ..no child should ever be an adults meal ticket EVER ..

I don't have an opinion on whether he would be happier staying or going, but in general I would not recommend someone stay in an dysfunctional relationship for the sake of "love". It is sometimes really difficult to see how unhappy you have become (though being in the psych ward is usually a good clue that something needs to change) or predict how happy you would be on your own.

This is very true. However, I don't believe that George's current emotional state can be looked at as a reason he should leave Cindy or as proof that he'd be happier without her. I simply don't understand why people are rooting for George to leave Cindy. If their relationship works for them, who are we to judge?

I think most people don't see how it is working for them. Their granddaughter is dead, their daughter will probably never walk out into the free world again, and George is suicidal/under observation. Most marriages that go through a crisis of this magnitude come undone.

I agree. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I suppose it's possible it could bind them together???? I've only known a handful of people who have lost a child, young adult, but of those people only one couple stayed together ultimately.

Just my opinion....
George is a victim....Casey is a spoiled brat victim....Spoiled brat victims become narcisstic. Narcissism results in no heart. There you have it. Please don't badger me. Just my opinion.

I have not been on Websleuths since the Scot Peterson threads. Here I am reading everything I can. I think Casey is just like Scot Peterson...lies, lies and more lies.

Can anyone sum up what's in the latest People? What are the "bombshells"?

Who are we to say it's working or it's not working? Really, this is absolutely none of our business. Whatever their relationship means to each other is their business.

IMO, The A's were in trouble long before Caylee's murder, if anyone can't see the dysfuntion in that family unit by now, then I would guess those same people would'nt see a snake if it rose up and bit them on the nose. I have a feeling little Caylee was actually the glue that held CA and GA together for the past couple of years. I believe GA thinks he lost everything. He knows he lost his little Caylee, he knows he lost his daughter, and I believe he thinks he lost his wife also. IMO, throughout this whole horrible case, GA has worked very hard emotionally to try and appease CA, and go along with her in the belief that Caylee was still alive, despite what his own personal true feelings were. He has been hanging onto CA by a thread, afraid of losing her too. He pretty much said as much in his recorded statement to LE. Nobody can keep up this kind of facade for any length of time before cracking under their own emotional pressure. MOO of course.

Very insightful. Don't be surprised if the A's do split it will be at Cindy's request.

well then it shouldve stopped at that .. there is no reason for him taking this to people magazine .. if it is cindys brother who did this .. no wonder why cindy is like she is ? how long has he treated her this way ? kwim? and if he is so concerned for caylee then why make money off of it ?

i agree. i think he's a shady character. just because he didn't kill caylee doesn't mean he's a saint.

Yes...I would like to know...haven't been able to get this issue yet. I was disappointed how this thread turned to Rick. Do we have any actual quotes from the article?

I completely agree with this post. Additionally, I think it's wrong that so many people seem to be wishing that George, for his own sake, does not stay with Cindy. He obviously loves Cindy very much, why would anyone want him to be even more unhappy than he already is? Hasn't he lost enough?
One thing I've learned following this case...there's nothing obvious.

I am kinda confused that People has reported the blanket and toy horse has been link back to the A's house. Did I missed something in discovery ?? I thought that the tests have not came back yet. Where did People mag. get this information. Or did i not hear right???

We have some statements from the article here, but they aren't attributed to anyone.

My favorite is: A stainless steel knife was also found in the trash bag with Caylee's remains. :D
