The picture is definitely her neck. The buttoned shirt is pulled up over her face so you can't see it but her hair is definitely visible on the side. It shows the bruising from her being choked.

IIRC, he's only giving interviews to media who will pay for it...that's why he refused to talk to JC and CBS when they came to the prison and he was moved from his cell. The Dutch newspaper must have come up with some cash! JMO

And about two years supply of toilet paper and Pert shampoo since he seems to think that's the only length of time that he's going to have to spend there, in his nice solitary cell awaiting the trial. He seems convinced he's going to beat these charges when it goes to trial. Is anyone telling him there's no jury or reasonable doubt involved here? Oh well...I guess he might have to find out the Peruvian justice system the hard way.

Also, the placement of the X on this diagram (link in your post) matches the location of the injury (more towards left) to what some believe is her neck in new photo.

Regarding yesterday's JVS interview: "He also complained to the newspaper that he has to share his prison cellblock with a Colombian murderer, a corrupt Peruvian general and rats that creep into his cell through the toilet at night."

Since JVS is in a cellblock with a cadre of violent, nothing-to-lose murderers who also dislike rejection, I'm going to guess that these statements to the media were somewhat, uh, unwise?

Meanwhile, it's pretty curious why, if the FBI lured JVS, they didn't lure him to a U.S. territory where he could be handcuffed the moment he stepped on the soil.

He entered the wrong country.......Peru........he should've googled Peru's Justice System first.......instead of heading to the Atlantic City Casino.

He must've forgot himself and thought he was in Aruba where nothing could touch him because he was 'teflon-coated'......wrong again.

Peru has his number and it's now #326390......no name just another murdering inmate living the low life among those who will be gunning for him.
