Joran van der Sloot has plans to write a book about psychic abilities which he claims to have.

Fools and their money. :notgood:

That "medium" guy has been trying to gain some notoriety for a while by claiming he can tap into Joran's mind or some such nonsense. How about he taps in and finds out where Natalee is? So I guess he's been in contact and of course Joran comes up with a brilliant idea to fleece someone else of some cash by claiming he is aware that this medium is "visiting him" via his mind and that he'd like to write a book about it? The only people he might be in contact with via his mind would be Natalee and Stephany. I hope they both haunt him on a daily basis.

Mr Van Den Broeke should have a chat with Dr Mary Hamer and pay her some euros instead if he wants an interesting book that people might read. :giggle:

Oh and Mr Van Den Broeke also claimed last year that Joran "will soon be killed".

We're still waiting Mr Van Den Broeke.

Apparently he claims that Ricardo Flores (Stephany's father) has put the $10,000 "hit" out on him. This guy will say and do anything. He still has absolutely no conscience. Here's the letter...

ETA: I guess he also figures this will ensure that should anything actually happen to him in that prison, Mr Flores would be held accountable? He's probably had a few close calls due to his attitude and he's trying to manipulate himself into a better position in the prison (or most preferably out of the prison) so that other inmates don't have contact with him. He's a real piece of work IMO.

Joran van der Sloot to talk in exchange for a transfer

Van der Sloot therefore wants to leave the Peruvian prison. And you can. The Netherlands has a treaty with Peru for two years that the transfer of criminal sentences makes it possible. Van der Sloot will therefore throw a deal. He promises to tell the truth about the disappearance of Natalee Holloway

Apparently by the google translate I can decipher, Peru has new legislation that he cannot apply for early release and must stay in prison for another 22 years. So he's trying to strike a deal, full disclosure about Natallee for a transfer to prison in the Netherlands. This was supposed to have been an Associated Press interview but I cannot find any news of this in English Media. There are several links from media in the Netherlands. I believe he just spoke with AP today so the story is coming?

So what will this be, new and improved version number 5? 6?

That prison must really be hell for him. Good, keep him there for the next 22 years. Nothing he says about Natalee will be the truth. She was likely taken out to sea and they wouldn't be able to find her remains anyway. No deal. But to me this indicates that he's finally admitting he was there. He'll never admit he killed her though.

And once again he's torturing the Holloway family. No way do they want him to strike a deal to serve out his sentence in the Netherlands so they still don't get any answers. Not that they would be the truth anyway. But I'm sure part of them wants to know what he would say and if he could actually provide a location for her remains.

He's evil.

Why would anyone think he's going to suddenly tell the truth??? Sadly, he'll never disclose what he really did to Natalee or where she ended up unless it is to torture her family. Why do it for the money when he can lie and get paid just as easily??? He probably thinks conditions are not as harsh in Netherlands prisons, or that he can snow them given his background and they will parole him...

And if the prison he's in is so harsh, remote and strict....how the heck was he able to give an interview to the Associated Press? :waitasec:

The Holloway family wants him transferred to the US for prosecution after he serves his Peruvian prison sentence. They would lose him forever if he was released to serve his sentence in a Dutch prison. Joran's mother tried to have him committed to a mental institution the weekend that he vanished to Peru, so it's possible that he would serve his sentence in a comfortable mental institution - given that it was already suspected that he was mentally ill prior to Stephany's murder.

If it's more important for the family to have her remains, there is no downside to listening to what he has to say. Unless he can direct investigators to her actual bones, there cannot be a deal. Any claim that he put her in the ocean cannot be trusted.

Well he certainly thinks that conditions in the Netherlands are not as harsh...because they definitely are not. He probably would even request to go back to Aruba to finish the sentence if anyone agreed to this deal he's put forth, he's just that arrogant. And he has no perks in Challapalca not to mention the cold harsh weather conditions, lack of heat in the prison etc. Must be really rough to have no cell phone with internet access to gamble and stay in touch with the outside world, no homemade dinners being dropped off, chocolate bars and other snacks, drugs and conjugal visits. He still claims the other inmates want to murder him. I'm sure if they did, they would have accomplished it by now. Remember his faked shanking? He'll say and do anything to get out of that place so IMO it's the best place for him to be. Too bad it wasn't for the rest of his life instead of only 22 years. And hopefully he will spend every last day of his sentence there, unless those other prisoners make good on his prediction to kill him and it does end up to be a life sentence...a short life. ;)
