If this is the same girl then I have to assume there is a financial incentive for her. I don't imagine she lives in the vicinity of the new prison he's at so I guess his lawyer works out all the transportation for her. The last time, she had already had a son and the rumour mill was trying to claim that the child was Joran's. But of course a simple DNA test would rule that out. Maybe it was just those rumours that got someone to start thinking what a good idea that would be.

Why on earth Peru would even consider the possibility of making a confessed and convicted murderer of one of their own a "national" totally escapes me. I certainly hope his felon status would trump his "married with child" status should that ever come up.

So was this an "unsupervised visit" or a conjugal visit? I'm going with the latter. It would not surprise me that all incarcerated men in the country are permitted conjugal visits. I wonder if the women have the same "perk".

The whole thing is just an insult to the memory of two beautiful young ladies.

But van der Sloot's lawyer, Maximo Altez, told ABC News the reports are not true and the woman, whose real name he said is Carol Figueroa Uceda, told him she was not pregnant.

Whether the woman is pregnant or not, it came as a surprise to many the van der Sloot, convicted of killer a Peruvian woman and suspected of killing American Natalee Holloway, is granted conjugal visits in his prison.

Altez blamed the pregnancy rumors on his own client and said De Telegraaf had never contacted the lawyer directly.

Both Altez and American lawyers said van der Sloot could not evade extradition to the U.S., by fathering a Peruvian child or marrying a Peruvian woman. Peru says it will extradite van der Sloot after he has served his prison term there.

Convicted killer Joran van der Sloot may be back in court by the end of the year fighting to have his sentence overturned, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

"The Inter-American Commission of Human Rights are going to give a final decision by December," van der Sloot's lawyer, Aldo-Favio Cotrina, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

"They could reverse the case and order a new trial to have his sentence reduced," he explained. "This is very good news for Joran!"

And the pregnancy story is taking a new twist too...

It is not true that Joran got someone pregnant," his lawyer revealed. "He doesn’t have any conjugal visitation, in order to get that you have to be married as it is only allowed with a wife.

Instead, he claims Carol Figueroa Uceda, also known as Leidi, is the latest in a long list of obsessed females stalking his client behind bars, which includes two young girls who traveled from Germany and Switzerland and begged to have access to him.

So first it was Joran himself who told DeTelegraf this info and now it's the crazy stalker girl who is making this stuff up.

Well I wouldn't call this "Leidi" the "latest" in a long string of women obsessed with Joran. She's been around since before his trial back in his old digs. And they've used her before in a pregnancy story.

And two "young" women travelled all that way just on the chance they could see him? Not buying that one either.

Perhaps they're trying to remove the image of Mary, his "guardian angel" being the only groupie he's got.

Joran Van Der Sloot Wedding: Nuptials Being Arranged By Convicted Killer

Convicted killer Joran van der Sloot is engaged to a Peruvian woman, according to his attorney Maximo Altez. The wedding is to be held in June, pending final approval by prison officials.

Altez was unavailable for comment this afternoon. In an earlier interview with the Associated Press he declined to disclose the name of the bride.

"He wants to marry, change his life, start a new life," Altez, also Peruvian, told the AP.

According to published reports, the young woman van der Sloot plans to wed is Leydi Figueroa Uceda, who he met in early 2011 when she was distributing products to inmates at the Miguel Castro Castro prison in San Juan de Lurigancho.

The future bride, according to published reports, was born on Sept. 19, 1989 in Peru. She is reportedly a devout Roman Catholic who lives in San Juan de Lurigancho. She is the mother of a child who may or may not be the son of van der Sloot. There are conflicting reports that the child was conceived during an unsupervised conjugal prison visit. The bride-to-be is, according to the Associated Press, registered at the prison as a conjugal visitor for the convicted killer.
