Once justice is served for Stephany, I hope answers about Natalie are tortured out of this 🤬🤬🤬.

Thank you for sharing this with us...I love how the detective not only rolls down the window for the media to film, but he also moves his head back so they can get a good shot of Vandersloot!!!

Hmmm, he doesn't look impressed. Where has the smugness gone? :loser:

He looks like he's filling his pants.

Wish I had HLN right now.

bumping this post from the earlier thread - thankx to Girlrilla for posting this.

The segment about the Lima prison starts around the 24 minute mark. Please note this is where they send ALL of them - even awaiting trial. And one they talk about has been there almost 4 years AWAITING TRIAL!

So, its my :twocents: that JVDS will be there by night fall - and he possibly will be dead by next week!

Well worth the watch! Its a National Geographic film and very informative. How would you have liked to have been the camera man?

CarrieBean, The link you provided is much better than the snippets HLN has shown this am. He does look like he's scared shizzless in the back of the car! Good! If he's never been afraid before he is about to learn the meaning of fear. Maybe now he will know how both Natalee and Stephanie felt. JackArse!

Really like Chile's way of handling the matter. Hope there are no problems today like somehow the Dutch government intercepting him.

<snipped>

According to Radio 1's correspondent in the region, Van der Sloot is being expelled from Chile this afternoon as an undesirable foreigner.

Waiting for an international arrest warrant and the ensuing bureaucracy means it could take months before Van der Sloot faces charges, the correspondent said.

Instead he will be escorted to the border by Chilean police and handed over to the Peruvian authorities, the correspondent said.

Yep, Chile is now officially up there with Judge Strickland for me. He had thirty days, but he took a weekend to make his decision. Chile had two months, but it only took a day to decide to expell the little sh**. I just cannot stop smiling right now. I am going to make sure to visit Chile one day. I applaud them for their most intelligent and quick decision.

But darnit, I was hoping he'd try to escape and they'd have to shoot him or something. Oh well, I hope he's nervous about the Peruvian prison he'll probably die in before his 25 years are up.

I also hope his shocked mother and her money doesn't somehow get in the way of justice here. Let him suffer consequences for ONCE! How many people does he get to kill before she GETS IT?

Hopefully not before he gives up the whereabouts of NH. I have a feeling Stephany's father may push for that.

Months in jail before charges.....I don't know, if Joran's arrogance gets in the way he may not be alive, or at least pretty beaten up, before any Court appearance.

I too agree with the posters who feel this murder was not about sex but about money. I feel a date rape drug was administered to Stephany by Joran in the hopes of luring her back to the room (quiet place, no witnesses) in an effort to rob her. She is still alert enough to attempt to fight back when he attempts to take her money and he flies into a rage. I am basing this off the statement that no rape ocurred, and by the statement made by his friend indicating that Joran was livid in recent conversations regarding Joran's lack of money.

ETA I would be very interested to see if they found any of her valuables when they discovered the body or whether, as I suspect, she was indeed robbed.

That might be just what keeps him "out" of that prison. The Peruvian authorities KNOW exactly how bad that prison is and just what awaits a "foreign gringo" that they slap in there. So, in order to keep his azz out of there - they might say that if he offers up the location of Natalee, it keeps him outta there. I'm sure they have other "jails" (that are somewhat temporary until they get them in that prison) they could keep him in.

Gotta watch this closely.

Are we going to be able to see the transfer at the border? Anyone know?

I'm certain it will be caught on film. Did you notice all the news outlets there? CNN (Mexico), BBC, we know Phil Keating from FOX is there.

The Peruvian's want to talk to him. He'll be taken to an LE station and questioned (maybe even knocked around).

FOX just said that Greta will be on about this at the top of the hour.

Still using Google translate here, 'cause otherwise i'd have no clue at all.

I read (translated) on a couple of sites that said the flight takes 8 hours. That doesn't sound right, does it?

VDS is looking pretty rough, indeed.

Heres the article under the video

The Dutchman Joran van der Sloot (23) left this morning heading Prefecture Santiago to Arica, where you will be transferred by air to be delivered to the Peruvian authorities to face justice in our country for the murder of Flores Stephany Young (21). The foreigner was arrested yesterday when he went toward the Chilean capital, after the land left Peru last May 31, the same day that the body was found in a hotel in Miraflores for the daughter of the businessman and racer Ricardo Flores. Anoh, the Ministry of Interior of Chile decided that Van der Sloot to be expelled from the country and handed over to Peruvian authorities required for the crime charged. This, as we know, was the shortest way to achieve the appearance of the Dutchman, for the extradition could take much longer.

From those pictures, looks like he's been "popped" in the left eye.

As far as Greta and the FBI. IMO it wasn't the FBI but the gov't of Aruba that's at fault here.

He "committed a crime" on May 10th - allows for arrest warrant to be issued.

Apparently everybody knew he was in Aruba at that time, broke, wandering around - doing not much of anything, couldn't go anywhere cause he didn't have any money.....

The FBI sting "nets" him 15K - money now to travel......

I'm wondering what the communication exchange was between the FBI and Aruba. I beleive that the powers that be in Aruba were "dragging their feet" as far as either giving the FBI the ok to come apprehend, or taking him in themselves (Arubua LE) for at least questioning.

Meanwhile, he took the money and ran and killed and we now have a huge international incident with another young, beautiful girl killed and her family hurting.

Nope, I don't blame the FBI - I blame the government of Aruba. I think that is why the FBI came forward yesterday. They knew this had been going on - better to come out with it now, then hold it. I'm willing to bet in the days and weeks to come we find out how Aruba had been doing everything they could to block us from apprehending him.

Just wait, she will add Sarah Palin in there somewhere......I am beginning to wonder if she is gonna run with Palin in the next election. I used to love her, when she did the investigative reporting but now, I can't stand her.

I saw a little 'crack in the back' as 'The Flying Dutchman' was boarding that small plane.!

I guess the Chilean authorites took away his belt, eh?

Would love to see the family of Stephany Flores meet the plane and see the look on this miserable piece of sh**ts face.
