Geez.........watching that video of that poor girl entering his room is far more disturbing to me than seeing joran paraded. Like a lamb going to slaughter. I can't imagine what her family is going through.

My question is why would she be going to his room? She's a lesbian. Doesn't look like she's inebriated and headed to party. I wonder what he said to lure her.

The only thing they had in common was poker playing. I suspect that maybe they wanted to exchange techniques or possibly partnering.

Did anyone else notice at his Facebook page(appeared in a much earlier post in another thread) that for "body type" he shows 1'1" i.e. "one foot, one inch". WTH? Is he trying to brag about a specific body part here, or ...??? Maybe he got confused between metric measurements and feet/inches.

I just tried to find the link by searching at Facebook, because I'm not sure where it was in the JVDS threads, but it I can't find it. Maybe his page was taken down.

The quote I read about her being a lesbian said she "was struggling with her sexuality". I don't know exactly what that meant, but it might be possible she was not sure, still wanted to be heterosexual, and maybe Joran seemed attractive to her at the time, given their mutual talent for poker playing? Just a thought. Thus, she followed him to the hotel and into his room. It kind of would explain her body language--head down, etc.

That video is disturbing in so many ways...he is smiling on entry and she is holding her head down and it just seems like she is almost in a trance...can't say that though as we can't see her face...but she just follows along...wonder if she was drugged a little or maybe just embarassed? I dunno...hard to look at and him coming out all calm looking and all.IMO

Kind of reminds me of the Shaniya pictures in the hotel.

Sorry, I feel no pity for this creature. That disappeared when I read he also beat his dog to death years ago. And I was born and raised in The Netherlands.
He is just a vile murderous specimen with no compassion IMO.

It doesnt seem they are all over each other, like they are anxious to get to his hotelroom for some 'intimate' times. She just follows him like she's not sure....he does not turn around to make sure she's ok, or still there behind him. Doesn't look like they are engaged in conversations as I see no eyecontact.

I do believe parts of that video has not been released as we don't see him leaving for the coffeerun...

Some people posted earlier that they thought perhaps he returned with the coffee, saw a dead Stephanie and panicked thinking he would be fingered with the murder--therefore explaining why he didn't go for help or report her death. In this video, does this look like the face of someone who is panicked at all??? Me thinks not.

If that is the case that wouldn't explain his bloody clothes if that is what they have.

I think that was done later on because it sure doesn't look the same when he was arrested as in the hotel video.

Well, he did have a three day head start before her body was found, so the hair color could have been at a stop anywhere after leaving the hotel on Sunday. MOO

Hi, Beyond Belief, this "perp walk" has happened before in Peru, most famously, I believe after the Peruvian forces captured Guzman, the leader of Shining Path. As I remember, he too appeared before a long white screen.

A video posted earlier too of his arrival motorcade looked like the motorcade stopped, they paraded him out for view, then put him back and went on their way. Did I interpret that right?

PrinceSSa, I've been wondering the same thing. I keep wondering why this smart, well educated, privileged, gay, young Peruvian woman would go to an American guy's hostel room. I'm wondering if he said he had to pick up his cell, using an excuse like this father is ill and he wants to see if his mother has called, or was picking up a jacket or something, so they could go off and have breakfast? He may have even told her he had to go and pick up some cash or his credit card (lies of course), or maybe he told her he had an American T-shirt she could have.

I think there are a number of ways he could convince her to come up for " a minute" especially if he wasn't "all over her" - so she probably felt safe.

lol - no, I can't imagine Joran running out of his room screaming or being visibly shaken up by much of anything. Although, he might be terribly upset that he didn't get to the girl first. I'm still shocked Joran went for 2 coffees, can't imagine him doing that for any girl unless there was an ulterior motive for him to do so. I doubt she was alive at that time. moo
