That was one of the first things I noticed listed, and why her jeans were removed, I believe because HE wanted sex but then discovered the sanitary napkin. I have never believed she went to the room for sex. MOO

The theory that Joran offered to sell her his laptop could explain it. I saw nothing indicating a hook up on that video of them walking to the room. I also think the friends saying she would never go to a man's hotel room, of course she wouldn't go for a hook up if she is a lesbian, but if she was going to a friends room to check out a deal on a laptop.....

They both gamble.
She tells Joran she has a grand cash to buy a laptop.
He knows she has won some money to boot.
He tells her he will sell her his for a screaming deal, she can end up with a laptop and some cash, come on up and check it out.

There are many reasonable explanations to go to a "friends" room.

Jane is the only one that said "ripped" off, and Nancy the only one that stated Stephany was "thrown" to her knees.

IMO, Neither one knows this as fact yet!

I don't see her being drugged either. If so, he would be following her, like he was afraid she would escape or give some kind of indication to the desk clerk. He ignored her and was not worried about what might be going on behind him...

I understand the FBI was involved, but the money landed in Joran's lap! He walked away with that money to spend and Holloway is not getting it back. WTH! That was a shame that Ms. Holloway thought she would actually get answers from her daughter's murderer. There was no way he was going to tell her where Natalee's body was found. NO WAY. I'm not sure he even knows since she was (likely) dumped at sea.

I wouldn't pay that piece of slime 1 nickle for "information."

Would you pay 25k to lure him to the US/US territory where he could be arrested and finally taken of the streets? Facing federal charges?

They send some money, he thinks sucker, he will definitely ask for more, he has real money in his hands, his defenses are down for round two, he think he has BH right were he wants her.


And maybe just maybe you find out where your daughter's body was dumped? But I don't think that was the real goal of that transaction.
