Same sex couples are not allowed at all hotels, the laws are not like they are here. I know when we went to Sandal's on vacation they did not allow same sex couples to stay there or at any of their other properties (in my sheltered USA view of the world I was shocked to find that out), but I think some places advertise that they will allow it to bring in those tourist dollars.

There are many gay-friendly travel guides out there so I think you are right.

It looks like this diagram was created by a newspaper graphic artist. Who knows how accurate it is.

Furhman was in a room in that hotel (another floor tho) and it's very small. There wasn't room for anything to be arranged very dif. Bed, nightstand, chair and four walls. About 8'x10' he said. He said her body would've been between the bed and the wall just like in the diagram you posted.

LIMA (BNO NEWS) -- Police say Joran van der Sloot has confessed to murdering 21-year-old Peruvian citizen Stephany Flores.

Is it true? Can't find an actual article...

Perhaps Stephany was alive when Joran went for coffee, he went for coffee and she jumped in the shower; he came back while she was dressing and she opened the door to let him in because he was carrying bread and 2 cups of coffee; he took her state of partial undress to mean she was a willing sex partner. Things went down from there. And before you jump on this post, yes she very well might have answered the door not completely dressed even if she didn't know him that well. Perhaps her shirt covered her panties, perhaps she wasn't modest, perhaps she trusted him because she told him she was gay, etc.

But....the report JC showed on NG tonight stated she was having her period and a pad was present under her panties....ok, this is gross I guess but if that was true and she was not carrying a purse did she have extra with her possibly in her vehicle? Can't imagine not having a change with her. Just thinking out loud here.

And the body is not even in the position being described on the information contained in the copy of the police report?

I'll be the last person to jump on you. Could be why we aren't seeing more video footage. If they showed the video of the arrival of the two and the departure of only Joran, there has to be a reason they aren't showing his middle time comings and goings. No?!?

I wonder if a broken hyoid bone may have been mistakenly interpreted as a broken neck in this case? Just a thought.

I don't get it. If I'm with my neices or sister how do they know if we're gay or not? Or if I'm with gay friends for that matter.

Good point in leading me to believe it would be likely that she would have carried a small purse that evening (an extra napkin).

Minibar? They have Coke Light and Coke in bottles in the mini bars in rooms that I have stayed in Europe.

Notice on the front of the hostel it says Restaurant. Where did the coke and the infamous 2 cups of coffee come from??

LIMA (BNO NEWS) — Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, who remains the prime suspect in the disappearance of missing teenager Natalee Holloway, on Monday confessed to murdering a Peruvian woman, police confirmed.
According to police, Van der Sloot killed 21-year-old Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez because she saw ’something’ about Natalee Holloway on his laptop.

“I did not want to do it,” Van der Sloot said in his confession. “The girl saw private things. She had no right. I approached her and she was scared,” he continued.
“We discussed it and she tried to escape, and I took her neck and hit her.”

maybe she did open the door for him, thats why they are saying she died after that.

Just to clear up my post on "alternative Lifestyles" here is the definition from the urban dictionary. It's also described similarly in other google defined definitions. It can mean but is not limited to homosexuality. I never meant my post that way.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=alternative lifestyle

Any socially-unconvential lifestyle, esp. sexual. Includes but is not restricted to describing gay lifestyles.
Swinging is an alternative lifestyle.
To Meg, Goth was more than just an attitude, it was whole alternative lifestyle.

I'm reading that he came back from getting coffee and found her on his computer looking at things re: NH and they had a fight over it and he hit her. I guess we wait for official word re: confession.
