With all due respect, you preaching and belittling people who eat meat is exactly what we are complaining about. I feel no need to shove my agenda on you so why can't vegetarians do the same? It really isn't your business what I eat or anyone else as long as I am not eating Soylent Green. So don't tell me what I should and should not eat. Quite frankly, are coming off as a little insulting, rude and self righteous. I love my steaks and my leather shoes, you don't an thats your business. The point is that some posters were stupid enough to state that humans need meat which could not be further from the truth. I am a 6'4" LIFELONG VEGETARIAN and there are many of us worldwide that don't eat meat or seafood.
Humans should not be eating meat/fish and if that was the case there would be little or no animal leather since the by-product of meat simply wouldn't be there. Instead you would have pleather or synthetic leather which is acutally cheaper in some ways due to advanced technology and as technology improves it will be cheaper than any animal-derived product.
The "stupid" ( your words, not mine, I find that poster to be just the opposite) poster should have phrased it more like "people benefit greatly from the nutrients in meat" ,which is true. Don't you take the vitamins to replace the nutrients you don't get from meat?
