Amber and Robert live(d) across the street from each other, so of course they and their kids were going to see each other, even say "hi" and wave like we tend to do to our neighbors here.

Dave and Amber were still together as of last Christmas in fact they were living together. I had heard that Amber and Dave "might" get married over a year ago. He decided he wanted to wait. Yes they went to court, but ONLY to hammer out the legal details re:Justin's care and support in case they split from each other.
Now Amber is about 6 months pregnant with her new husbands child. Do the math.

Yes Amber loves her kids, really dotes on them and they are happy and healthy. That's what matters.

As for Amber not waiting to have unprotected sex...it's not like she has not been advised by people who know and care about her and the kids to have the guy checked out first. It's not like she wasn't taught this in high school either. Amber simply does not think about it and she does not take time to get to know the guy before she has sex with him.

Good question. I know if I were her new hubby, I'd insist on the DNA test. But then any male who has sex with Amber without using protection (assuming he didn't want a child right away) needs his head examined.

I just hope for the kids' sake, she put a stop to all these pregnancies at least until she finds the right guy. To me, it's very odd in the similarities in Jackie and her. For the life of me, I can't imagine getting pregnant over and over and over like this.

Well since Dave didn't want more kids right away I'm guessing he was using a condom. Amber does not use birth control.

Kids need stability and always know they will not be hurt and jerked around. As for her ex, maybe he kicked her to the curb. This won't last either. Yes, she does know. And that's where I find fault with her. Once...sure, anything can happen. But again and again and again.

Kids do need stability, and IMO, they haven't gotten it up until now from her. Maybe this marriage will work...I hope so, but it won't surprise me a bit if it doesn't. And then I believe, she'll be out again and getting pregnant.

I am really amazed at the similarities in her and Jackie. It's like get pregnant, and then see if the guy will marry you. Not a good idea, IMO.

If she'd just been sleeping with all these guys, and not brought a baby into the world, I wouldn't even be talking about it. I wouldn't care. It's those poor kids I am thinking about.

What I cannot understand is why Amber has to have a child with every guy she thinks she is in a serious relationship with. This must be the way that some women think. Thank goodness she didn't get pregnant by Scott or she would have ended up in the bottom of the Bay also.

She reminds me of a girl I knew in high school. Knocked up by every Jerk that said she was nice and promised her the world. They never delivered. So Amber needs to think for herself and not be so pathetic about counting on a man. She has kids that KNOW she lacks confidence. God, imagine her with Scott a few more months. EWWW

And the bad thing is by doing this in front of her children (and creating more children), and she's teaching these kids that this is the norm...and it's not. What kind of a message is she sending to that daughter (and the son)?

Once she started bringing children into the world, things changed, at least IMO.

And she is so lucky she didn't get pregnant with Scott's baby...and I have no doubt that she would have...eventually. She said she had unprotected sex with him...and that's nuts. She's lucky she's alive. You'd think she would have learned a great deal from that relationship.

I have two friends who became unwed mom, both of them will not date or marry until the kids are 18. Concentrating on raising their child.
Bringing in different men into the kids lives a big no no. Especially after Scott the murderer.
