6000 WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My personal BEST OF THE BEST is still the Casey Anthony post....I dont even care if it's her or not!!

TOO funny you mentioned this post. I was just writing to someone about that post.

Congrats on 6000!! WTG

I know, I know... but still, you are the one that made this happen, so take a pat on the back now and then, ok? It won't happen often, especially from me!

David Lohr has gotten a lot of traffic to the petition. So he's one of us, at least in spirit, imo. Would you believe that a much-less-than reputable forum is trying to trash him over his 'dress' entry on his blog? It appears they're trying to insinuate he got his info from NG. As if. Anyone that's followed him knows that wouldn't happen. Ever.

But, in this particular instance, I'm happy to report that I know for a fact that David had his info waaaaay before NG aired. Upthread you can see a post I made about asking a media type for a mention. Well, the person I asked was David Lohr. Around 1:30pm yesterday, he mentioned to me about the supposed 'find' of a dress. He was asked by Tim to not give out the info, so he didn't. I didn't want to break his confidence, so I didn't. OcalaMom can verify we both knew about the 'dress' long before NG aired.

Besides, as you mom's out there know, a size 6 for a two year old??? I don't think so, not from the pics I've seen of her. If that was manufactured to look like evidence, then it was by someone without much knowledge of children's sizes. Tim did say last night that the dress was in good or very good condition. And that's another reason to not get one's hopes up that this could be related to the case.

<stepping off soapbox>

(But will hop right back on if anyone tries to impugn David's integrity again!)

Ding ding ding! We have a winner:

# 5,743: 9:01 am PDT, Oct 13, Joyce Kesse, Florida
Please DO NOT pay one cent for this reported upcoming movie. This is the most bizarre of all missing person's cases. The multitude of lies, mistruths etc is insulting to those of us with missing children, who do everything we can to find our children. Our daughter, Jennifer Kesse, age 24, Abducted on January 24,2006 from Orlando, with the Orlando Police Dept. as lead investigators, remains missing. This case will ultimately desensitize our communities when the next child goes missing due to this families actions or shall I say, lack of pro-activeness. Please visit www.findjenniferkesse.com
from some of Jennifer's volunteers

WOW fantastic!!!!!!!!!! Now we know how Joyce Kesse feels about the Anthony family!!!! This speaks volumes!!!!

Thanks lin for finding that and posting it!!!

I just want to say I'm very proud of Joyce Kesse for taking a proactive stand on this matter.

She and her husband have been through hell but they keep fighting for positive change!

100% agree. One of the many reasons -- many families -- that this petition thread, and other threads, like the Anthony Donation threads are important.

When people and/or entities use a tragedy for financial gain, it hurts legitimate causes. We read it in Mrs. Kesse's own words. Very powerful coming from a victim family member.

Mrs. Kesse didn't get a manual either, you know?

I received this email today............. I do not believe a word they are saying, it says CAYLEE ANTHONY...........it does not mention the A Family. Could they be misleading me?

Please continue the PETITION.............

Please be advised that Lifetime Networks is not developing a movie based on Caylee Anthony. These reports are untrue.

Thank you.

Totally understand about r/l. I heard a rumor that Cindy was paid to be on Today show this morning. Haven't seen any kind of confirmation at all.

Understand about the excitement of the indictment taking center stage with the media at the moment. As long as those folks are out hawking that baby's memory, I certainly hope the media will start picking up this story, promoting the petition.

I saw CA on the Today Show this morning, SSDD... KC is innocent, the truth will come out, find Caylee Alive.. blah, blah, blah... She needs to join KC. But she did look like crap, Ill give her that.

Saw an interview with GA too, SSDD, he looks better than I expected, I was soooooo worried about him yesterday....

I gotta question for David Lohr...How come his name isnt on the Petition??

Only 55 signatures so far today
yesterday was 150
and Monday was 256

Slowing down again. I spoke to someone I know over at the Today show, they did not pay CA for her interview....

Okay, I started a new petition:

This one is for Caylee's Law.

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/caylees-law--a-law-to-protect-children

I applaud your effort, I truly do, but am not sure I can support the petition as written. From my reading, it's a pretty broad expansion of existing son of sam laws and may miss some other points that should be included. Maybe a good idea to put the idea in a thread of its own to discuss and debate a few days to come up with perfect wording.

Don't get me wrong, I think it was very well written; even better than the Lifetime Petition text; and it's clearly well thought out. There's just a few other things I think should be considered in formulating this idea; like what are the current laws? I know you're swamped right now with school, so expecting you to do all of the research wouldn't be fair, that's why I'm suggesting a new thread.

Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Im confident in saying they didnt pay for the dress...

Caylees Law Petition has 24 signatures so far today
and
Lifetime Petition has 10 signatures so far for today.
