Looks like it, but surely officers wouldn't be leaning on it like that?
No that is his case that he is using to fill out the paperwork on what is in the bag

So last night’s pictures had not shown the duct tape properly. This is today’s pic which shows a wider view.

Police have found evidence (tape and possibly a struggle site) but it may not be related to this case. One of the suspects has offered their boat as a reward if she is found

Also reports have mentioned a smell coming from the property but I actually walked past and smelt it that day and can confirm it came from bushland not far from the house, was just wildlife not pets. Also I was only 2 dogs found not upto 11

National park search 'crucial' in missing teenager case

Sat 24 May 2025 at 4:55 pm

“Searches of a sprawling national park are "crucial" in trying to understand what happened to a teenage girl who disappeared more than a week earlier, police say.

Pheobe Bishop, 17, was last seen near Queensland's Bundaberg airport about 8.30am on May 15 after booking a trip to Western Australia.

Searching continued on Saturday at Good Night Scrub National Park, about an hour's drive from the airport, as part of expanded efforts involving homicide detectives and divers.

"The search of the ... national park area is crucial to the police investigation," Queensland Police Senior Constable Matthew Baker told reporters.”

Mishy this article is paywalled, could you please share the pic of the forensic officer that I can see on the cover page please? I’ve not seen that before. Are there any other new pics?

Evidence marker number 6 and that was yesterday afternoon

Gathering and collecting
I’m trying to see what is written on the papers. They look like bills/mail

That picture is not actually in the article. Even though they have used it for a cover photo.

I guess the best you can do is try to blow up the cover photo and see what you can see.

There is a photo of the sign to the Paradise Dam Tourist Drive ... "4 Wheel Drive Access Dry Conditions Only".

And other pics of the same broken tree stump, a couple of bills/papers littered on the ground right near that, and a forensic person crouching down, and putting something into a little test tube using tweezers near that too.

imo

Just caught up on this - I hate cases like this it sounds like Pheobe had a very hard life she never stood a chance really it seems.

My guess is that this will be about somebody becoming infatuated with Pheobe and when they found out she was going to visit her boyfriend - decided to end her life.

So so sad.

I hope she’s found soon

IMO not necessarily infatuated, more likely predatory, sexually motivated and Pheobe possibly tried to fight against it and things have then gone south quickly.
