Shooting heard at Manila leisure complex
There have been reports of gunfire and explosions at a tourist hotel in the Philippines.
Police and Swat teams were deployed to Resorts World Manila at about 01:30 local time (17:30 GMT), according to reports from CNN Philippines.
News site Rappler.com is reporting that several people have been wounded.
Resorts World Manila boasts a hotel, casino, shopping centre and cinema within its complex.
AT least 25 people have been injured – with fears Brits are among those hurt – after masked gunmen started shooting inside a resort in the capital of the Philippines.
Explosions were also heard at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City – as terrified witnesses said they saw guests jumping from the second floor of the hotel, Manila Times reported
"The Philippines has been grappling with incidents of terrorism, especially on the southern island of Mindanao. There, in the city of Marawi, government forces have been battling ISIS-linked militants for control of the city.
The battle for Marawi, a largely Muslim city, has displaced at least 70,000 residents and left 140 people dead. The terrorist siege began last week, just as Muslims worldwide started to mark the holy month of Ramadan.
Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte declared martial law over the island of Mindanao in light of the crisis. Duterte also suggested he might extend martial law through year's end or impose it nationwide, alarming critics."

He was found in the room, burned beyond recognition
