My initial thoughts… she’s been living with someone who was not happy about her going to WA to see the boyfriend. They’ve tried to encourage her not to go. This has resulted in an argument and she’s been kicked out of the car (hence walking along Airport Drive and not dropped out front of terminal). They’ve then turned around to apologise (“sorry Phoebe, I didn’t mean it, jump back in the car and I’ll drive you to the terminal”) and then taken her elsewhere.

Depends on whether she called her boyfriend before she left the house or on Airport rd.

This article states that Police were “told” of the last place Pheobe was seen. Perhaps it is unreliable evidence as it may be from the people in the grey car?

“Police had been told she was last seen at Airport Dr with luggage, however investigators said they have no confirmed sightings of the teen at the airport. They have also not found her luggage.”

I don't even think she got anywhere near the airport
I think he told the cops that he dropped her off on that airport link road, which BTW is no where near the airport entrance she would have had to cross busy lanes and roundabouts to get to the terminal itself.

This is WHY the police are asking for dashcam footage of his car at the airport

Because it wasn't there!

Something happened to her at that property prior

Yes, I found that rather odd “cut throat.” Obviously the mom must mean in a different way from what I know. I understand cut throat to mean turning against someone ie a friend or acquaintance abruptly and in a harmful way.

Or conversely, perhaps the mom could have been misquoted as well.

I am curious as to who reported to seeing on airport road as well.

I would assume that the phone call to her boyfriend has been verified.

The housemate told police she was dropped off on airport link Rd.
Handy place for a drop off, no cameras there.
Hence why he said that road.
The terminal security cameras would have picked up his car IF he had indeed dropped her to airport

IMO she was no where near that airport

This gives him 24 hrs to sort "things" out before PB is noticed as missing, eg she never arrived at destination and alarm was raised.
