When you look in the sunglasses in this picture of her in the white top, the one where in the video she is just casually walking down the street with her Starbucks, you can clearly see a vehicle parked at the curb with the lights on. That means that the vehicle was running because all new cars have that feature, when the car is running the lights are on. So she didn't notice a parked running car with a video camera taking pictures of her? IMO the pictures and video were staged.

I do see that car. I note that KC's glance is not pointed toward the car. I don't know if the video camera is in that car. I am not sure that I can assume that because a car is there with lights on, that the video camera is in that car. I would agree that if someone was sitting in the front seat of a car with a video camera, she would have to see it. I don't know if just a car alone parked and running would be anything I would be concerned over walking down the street, but does she not cross the street after this?

It probably went down something like this...

- Casey pizzed off and itching to get out and about
- Baez and Co. not making the dosh they thought they would
- They knew that sooner or later someone would get snaps of her out in public and publish - thus reducing the cash Anthony would make off the "first" snaps
- Anthony's lawyers are not an ever ending money pit able to fund her life indefinitely

Cash deal done, give Anthony money to live off, stage manage shoot, sell to news outlets via third party, thus negating public backlash on networks and advertisers, show that there is still lot of interest in story, maybe a network will come forward and still offer big bucks for interview if we keep her name out there.

Believe me there is a PR/Media team (a pretty poor one at that) with their slimy hands all over this and I really hope that people don't buy into the hype and learn to recognise when they are being manipulated.

Just ask yourselves this --- Why wasn't Baez asked about these photos on the Today Show? Because Matt Lauer was told not to ask him as Baez doesn't want the public to know that he is behind this photo shoot. Also is this interview with Baez all that NBC paid for (via hotel rooms/meals), or is there more?

This is my first ever post on WS, although I have been a reader for several years. I am the person who posted a comment on the TMZ site about KC being at the Lennox Town Center and that she has been staying at the Varsity Inn.

I am a former resident of the the Columbus, Ohio area and my son still lives there. He was moving to a new apartment and had to stay at a hotel for a few days until the first of the month when he could move into his new apartment. He called me Sunday evening and said he had been staying at the Varsity Inn and would be checking out Monday morning. He told me that he had been seeing a young woman coming and going from the hotel a lot over the weekend, always walking and always alone, and that she looked a lot like KC but he couldn't be sure. He said he couldn't get a good look at her because she always was wearing a hat and glasses and he didn't want to just run up to her and "get in her face" for a good look, but he was pretty certain it was her. She stayed in a room 2 doors down from his room and he saw her coming and going a lot over the weekend and even had a brief almost face-to-face encounter with her Sunday morning as he left a Bob Evans restaurant next to the hotel after breakfast and this young woman came in the door and walked past him as he was at the cashier counter paying his bill.

He noticed her at the hotel walking around the parking lot and coming and going from her room a lot and said he at first was just checking her out because she had "great ". (My son is 25 and well, he's a guy.) When he finally got around to checking out her face, he said the first thing that hit him was that he was looking at Casey Anthony, in person. At that point, he said the lost all of their appeal. Even 25-year-old hormone-driven young men aren't interested in a great set of if part of the package is that they're attached to Casey Anthony.

I saw these earlier today and they announced they were from Ohio. I do not believe they are her - at all. The body is not hers and the face is nothing like hers.

Plus, WHY would she be out walking around alone? I don't think there is a remote possibility of that right now.

I do, though, think it is someone who wants to be mistaken for Casey - maybe paid by the DT, or just some person thinking it will be funny to do so. It wouldn't be hard to walk like her, place a fake mole, etc.

If it is not her, the pranksters would have to do an awful lot of re-creating moles and birthmarks. Every single blemish she has on arms and face match the Casey we know.

I think this was staged to look like Ohio,when it is not.

I also think KC was losing weight in prison so she could pack on a few after she was released.

However,the hair is phoney. In reality, I think KC completely changed her hair color and style. They put her in a wig for this 'sighting' so that she would look like she had close to the same hair. Believe me - she does not.

I just watched the video of her. I actually believe the girl at the end of the video is a completely different girl than the beginning of the tape, neither of them CA.

Not trying to make it complicated. But being that KC needs money and TMZ has just happened to get lucky by getting photos of the A's on their vacation and swimmnig with the dolphins...I am going to guess they have a "in" on getting these shots. I am going to even go one step further and say they have PAID for these shots. Sure, the photographer was set outside the parking lot. But I wonder how he KNEW she would be there? I would be willing to bet he received a phone call and told where she would be and how long he would have to get a few photos. Whether KC knew or not, who knows? But I am willing to bet she is profiting off of these photos or someone in the family is.

It is not unheard of for the paparazzi to receive calls from the "celebrity" themself. I know Paris Hilton and Brittney Spears did it when they wanted to alert the media of something.

This is a great point. The "better" PIs have connections with the cell phone companies and can track Casey just by her having her cell phone on.

Someone posted earlier in this thread that they worked for Old Navy. Can she/someone call the Ohio Old Navy and ASK if KC had been there? Why aren't the employees talking? Even if they THOUGHT KC had been there, you would think someone would have spoken to the press.

BBM. My opinion is that there were several private investigators staking out the area, and that this was not staged. Somebody initially got a tip as to Casey staying at that hotel and had the money to hire them.

It is common to have P.I. teams that are in constant contact with each other so that a subject does not recognize that he is being followed. They will "tag" to the next P.I. and the subject doesn't continually see the same follower. It is very advantageous in following someone in their car, for example.

P.I.s are very good at what they do (some anyway.) You could even know that there is a private investigator assigned to you, yet he would be able to track all your locations for the day without you knowing it. That's a standard for some of the better clients, and they are paid very well for their services. In a big money job like this, I think that's what happened.

You know, it's totally possible that CINDY hired some PI's to track down her daughter. We know she has at least one that she likes/liked.

IF what the DT and the A's have been saying is true (I guess it's possible) and that Casey is NOT in contact with her family, and the A's have NOT been notified of her whereabouts - well I wouldn't put it past Cindy AT ALL to decide to take things into her own hands to find out where Casey is.

Wouldn't it be rich if it was the A's who got someone to track her down, take these photos and make a buck for themselves by selling them!? Maybe they really have realized that Casey has cut them loose. They won't be writing a book together, going on tours of the talk show circuit about how their love for each other helped pull them through the dark times. You KNOW Cindy wanted those stories about how a strong mother kept the faith, fought for her daughter against tremendous odds and triumphed in the end. She wanted that magazine cover and the 48 hours episode AND the big fat paycheck to go with it. Wouldn't it be fitting if these photos were Cindy's way of getting revenge? Cindy can't make the big bucks?? Well then Casey can't either.

It would be fitting but Cindy is crazy and unfortunately does not have revenge on her mind. She would never endanger Casey's life by selling these photos. However, I think it's possible the PIs were hired by Cindy, and they went rogue sub rosa without Cindy's prior knowledge to score some easy cash.

Hmmn Kamille, I noticed something in the pic you pointed out. IS that car parked in the wrong direction? :waitasec:

What do you make of this? She's walking down a street and the parked cars are facing the same direction she is walking. At end of the video we see her making a quick left to cross the street. See my pic below where she's turned to cross street.
We can see that the cars are parked in the same direction she was walking on her side of the street.

The still pic to the right above shows a car with lights on as Kamille pointed out. However, the car seems parked the wrong way, the opposite way of the cars she walks by in the video. It also seems that in the video the street is full of parked cars, but in the sunglasses' reflection of the still there is only one car? :waitasec:

This may mean the stills are not the same footage as the video. But if it is the same stills as the video footage, and I was walking incognito and saw a car ahead, lights on, engine running AND parked the wrong direction, I too would quickly cross the street.
I don't know, but the difference in the pics is curious. Thoughts?

I watched the video and she adjusts her shirt while passing the bushes ........a KC thing.
She goes in the store and shops the window isles. When she is walking outside she fixes her hair..... a KC thing , and while walking holds her elbws close to her body..... A Kc thing, like she did in the Pinellas county jury selection She had quite a ways to walk in the courtroom and I noticed how she walked in front of all who she thought were watching . I think she knew someone was watching. I think it was planned.
As far as weight IF I hadn't had a normal meal for 2.5 yrs I would put on at least 10-15 IBS in a very short time. We saw her weight go up quite abit when she went to jail.
I have a hard time believing anything anyone on the defense says. So they can say it is not her, she is not there, and I would not believe them for 1 nano second. If KC suffers from a lieing condition they are not helping her one bit just feeding into her so called fantasy life. All for what? MONEY
I really don't care to hear one thing KC has to say, she had her chance and she blew it.
They all think we are soooooooooo interested in KC but we are all interested in how a person can live such a crazy life when she had a wonderful baby girl that would have brought her more happiness than she deserved in one lifetime. Bless little Caylee.

You know I got physically sick when I first looked at the photos on TMZ and then started laughing because I was looking at this person. Who cares what she is doing. I only care if she gets paid to do an interview, money that is only going to be paid to her because her Daughter Caylee is dead - Caylees money. The photos do look posed and that causes me to laugh because she looks stupid, sorry but it's true. It's like you can read her mind in these photos. "uh I'm gonna not look at the camera. I'm just gonna act like a normal person walking down the street. Oh I'll look up at the sky, thata look good"

Someone posted earlier that maybe KC is wearing a bullet-proof vest and that's why she appears "thicker" in the photos and video.

If she was in that kind of danger, enough to warrant someone supplying her with a bullet-proof vest to wear, she would NOT be on her own wandering around shopping malls and hotel parking lots in Columbus.

If there was ever a time that her "handlers" thought she was in danger and in need of protection such as a bullet-proof vest, they would have had her wearing one when she walked out of the front doors of the OC jail - but they didn't. If they didn't feel she needed one then, I doubt she's wearing one now that she's nowhere near an angry mob chanting "baby killer" at her.
