Casey Anthony Gets and Loses Porn Offer From Vivid Entertainment

I would love to post a THANK YOU to Vivid Entertainment for "offering" and then withdrawing it within minutes with an awesome statement!


Here's their statement:
It has become obvious to us that Vivid fans, and people in general, want nothing to do with her and that includes a XXX movie. We want to make movies that people want to watch and we now believe that we underestimated the emotional response that people are having to the verdict. A movie starring Casey Anthony is not what people want to see.

Now...can Lifetime really come up to her now and give her an offer??? Not after a huge porn company retracts their offer! Vivid Entertainment rocks!! (Not that I watch XXX movies...no seriously...I don't, but if I did, I'd watch Vivid!!)

I have to say I am shocked at the book offers and movie offers she's being offered. Never would you see that happen in another country. In Canada when Karla was released it was in secret and in french speaking Quebec who never heard of Karla Homolka. No one was lining up to offer book deals or movies to her. No one wanted to hear anything she had to say..except how she got away with murder.

I suggest no one wants to hear what Casey has to say. I'd never ever buy or read a book she had a hand in. She needs to change her name and get the hoodad out of Florida.

They actually transferred Karla to a prison in Quebec for exactly the reasons you noted. Nobody knew her in French Canada. She learned french in prison and blended after her release. At least she served 12 years. I used to be embarrassed about that, until last Tuesday. Now I'm embarrassed for Florida. Hi neighbor!

Look up Karla Holmolka. She murdered her sister and let her hubby rape her sister and she took part, and shes out, with a new name and kid.

Her sister was her Christmas present to Paul. She also kidnapped 2 other teenaged girls don't forget, helped rape and kill them too. Before Paul met Karla he was a rapist only. Enter Karla and her veterinary drugs and he morphed into a sexual sadist and murderer. And he's the dangerous offender while poor widdle abused Karla walks free.

I'm trying to recall if Vivid is one of the companies that throws offers like this out to anyone high profile.

This is a pretty common thing for Vivid. They offered one to Octomom, Pippa Middleton, a couple teen mom stars, etc.

Casey would seem like the likeliest to accept. LOL

What I thought. It's a way to get press, am amused they offered to Pippa.

As off the wall their retraction is, nice to see it. adult films are a huge industry complete with things like markerters and distributors. Lots of normal folks with families who certainly might have issue. (All I know about porn I learned from documentaries and news specials, seriously)

Vivid expected some press but I'm sure they didn't grasp the reaction from people in the business and consumers.

I had a couple of friends that went to a party at Hef's, not my cup of tea. But by all reports he really is a cool guy. And her has standards and ICA meets none of them.

I don't think anyone in the industry would want to work with her. I used to work in a salon that did hair extensions and some of the clients were porn actresses or strippers, even escorts. It really did seem like most of them were sensitive, vulnerable, isolated and despite everything they did to keep themselves beautiful were not superficial. I think that many of them had been abused as children. ICA would not leave the set alive.

Thanks for your comments. Your last quote above in bold really raised my eyebrows. I wonder what you mean in saying that ICA would not leave the set alive. I've heard that in recent polling 85-90% of those surveyed assign some type of serious crime to ICA. Perhaps a high majority of "adult" employees feel the same.

There is no way that she would do this. Casey is going to go on a major image rehabilitation drive. Regardless of whether it will work, she is going to try. We will hear her apologize over and over at every chance she gets.

Apologize for what? In her mind she didn't do anything wrong and if anyone should apologize it should be the world to her. If I hear an apology from her I'll drop dead on the spot. JMO

I think Playboy is a bit to classy for Casey...I think Hustler would be more her style.

TBH, the fact that a mainstream porn house doesn't want anything to do with her doesn't mean she won't get offers.

There will be at least a handful of niche or small producers that will take it.

The amount of money offered will be astoundingly smaller. Maybe $25,000.

I think that ICA is going to have a very hard time getting a job, finding a place to live just live rso. First off no one likes to hire people with a record, and if they hire ICA they might also have to deal with boycotts or threats.

And can you image what it would be like to live in the same neighborhood with her?

She should move out of the country, but she won't because if she did that she wouldn't get enough attention.

Thanks to the internet she's infamous. I think Canada, Britain, Italy, France and just about all of the wired world would know who she was. If she moved to tiny town Norway I'm sure sooner or later at least one person would know or find out and then the whole town would know.

I think it's possible she believes that she'll just go back to working at Fusion and make new friends and continue her life from where it left off on July 16th. I do think that she will find someone willing to marry her and she will have kids again. Unless she's arrested for something else first, and I think that's a distinct possibility.

Ah, but she was outed and hounded by neighbours several times after she was released into the community, despite the fact she changed her looks. Didn't she then marry a convict and move to the Bahamas or somewhere? Hopefully the same thing will happen to ICA.
