I'll have to look for that. My Rottie tries to take care of his "animals" but the Pit always steals them and de-squeaks them.
Here'a link to them on the Petsmart site

Mine haven't de-squeaked one yet. I hated buying them toys that didn't even last the trip home from Petsmart. I bought Apache some kind of Wiggle & Squeak toy...after the 10 minute drive home, there was no wiggle or squeak left!!! What a waste of $24.00!!!!!!
Tyson is still learning toys are fun, bless his heart. He's more interested in keeping MissBooBooBad happy & entertained. ;)

Cool, thanks! That ought to drive my Pit crazy. LOL

That sounds just like my boys! Sataroo loves his Babies, shadow just kills the babies. I think he has a one track mind. "where is the squeeker"

Thanks for that Jelly.

One that note I have to say that all of you were right. Sadly my Pit turned the other day. My friend brought over her new puppy to show my son and my Pit attacked and ripped his throat open. He also caused my Rott to join in due to the "pack" mentality. It really was total mayhem and no one at the house could do a thing about it.

It took me hours to vacuum up all the stuffing.

Note to self, never, NEVER bring another stuffed animal into the house and let the dogs see it. It's a death sentence.

 LOL! Just jokes folks!
Lurker, :slap: I thought I was going to have to hop on a plane and help you out. Good one though, just scared me half to death at first...LOL

Don't be so sure I bought mine one and he won't touch it because he can't tear it up. He does have one stuffed toy bear that he leaves completely alone, he sleeps with it and carries it around but he won't tear it up, he must feel something for it, I don't know. On a sad note my 2 year old English bulldog passed away two days ago for no apparent reason. We came home and she had vomited and I think she choked on it. We are all devestated especially our pit. He keeps going out to the yard and laying there watching the pasture to see if she is coming. We miss her so much it hurts.

I'm not a fan of "pit bulls" but I do think the bully breeds overall are great dogs. The problem with pit bulls as I see it is that most of the active breeding programs are being run by those who are looking for aggressive behaviour, as evidenced by the MV story detailing how they would kill the those who weren't aggressive. So when agressiveness is the desired trait then agressive dogs are the ones being bred and so on and on... pretty soon you have a whole breed that has that trait while the docile ones are killed or given away and not actively used in the breeding programs. It is a shame but I do think pit bulls are aggressive because it is bred into them and I wouldn't have one in my house around my family because you can't predict when their aggressive traits are going to surface.:(

:( I'm so sorry! Did your vet have any idea what killed her? I know English bulldogs will bloat like Danes do. It kills fast and they will sometimes throw up on the first signs.

OMG that is awful. I am a big bulldog lover, was raised with them. I am so sorry ugh!
One of my boxers died in March and I have been waiting to get a mate for my other boxer. When I get one it will be a EB or maybe a little boston..don't know yet.
So sorry about your loss.
Related story is the one dog I ever had that snapped was an EB of all breeds! She held us hostage on the kitchen counter till help arrived when we were kids.

I am a fan of the Animal Planet, and was watching the show where they rescue abused animals. The name is escaping me... animalcops?

Anyway, did anyone else catch the show where a rescuer got bit .. THREE separate times from the same Rottie (mix?) ? And the guy kept going back for more. I thought it was VERY irresponsible, naive of him to think that particular dog should ever be allowed into society.

Oh JBean I LOVE Bostons. I think it's because they look like they're just trying to be tough... lol. I'll probably have one soon as a relative of mine has one he'll be needing to find a home for. I could just have a whole herd of Bostons :D

My neighbor has a Boxer puppy I wish I could send to you.. he's a georgeous dog, brindle and white. Not fixed and runs loose. I wish they'd take care of him but it looks like they just wanted a boxer and now that he's older they don't want to spend any time or $ on him.

What's not to love about a Boston? LOL. We have had many in my family, although I have never had one myself. My folks and siblings had a lot of cuties though. My mom is in her 80's and my dad has passed away, but she has little Dakota her Boston buddy :)
ruh roh on the boxer running loose. I am a huge boxer lover, I am on my 4th or so. But untrained they are a pain in the BEEP. They can have all kinds of behavioral issues. I am sorry for that dog and the neighborhood! My boxer is also brindle and white.

Thanks, I haven't called the vet yet it just happened a couple off days ago. I am thinking about calling and seeing if they can do an autopsy but my husband says why, it isn't going to bring her back. I just keeping thinking if I was home I could have saved her. My 2 year noticed she was missing today and when she asked me where Lola was I just lost it. My 8 year old is doing okay with it but he has been crying around bedtime. I just can't believe she died, she ws only 2. She was fine when I left in the morning.

Thanks JBean, I hope you find your boxer a good friend. My poor pit is so lost. He just keeps following me everywhere today like he doesn't know what to do. I was thinking about when we get another it might be a Boston, that is so funny, they kind of look like mini EB's. She was so funny though all that snorting and the way she would boss our pit around. She was definitely the master of this house, now he doesn't know what to do because she isn't here to tell him.

This is exactly what is happening at my house. My Alpha dog is the one that died and so the one left behind is a lonely and lost. I had the pit for awhile, but we are remodeling and there was no way to contain her. So I had to give her up to a very good home. but while she was here, my boxer was so happy. Like yours she is stuck to me like glue and she just needs a full time buddy.
I know I need a second dog, I just can't do it until the house is finished.

This is so sad for the kids. It's hard to lose a pet. One sure sign of bloat is if her stomach looked puffed out and swollen. If she did bloat, in most cases they have from 30min-1 hour to live unless they get into surgery. And even in surgery chances are 50/50. :(

I hope you can find another furbaby to keep your other dog company. Sometimes that's the best thing for them.

COVINGTON, Okla. (AP) _ A Garfield County sheriff's deputy shot and killed a pit bulldog that witnesses say attacked this town's mayor and a little boy during a rampage with another dog.

The dogs' owner, William Palmer, said his three children often played with the female dog, and she always had been a docile and friendly animal.

``She's never done this before,'' Palmer said. ``I've never had any problem.

Seems it's always the same story.
