yes of course, any dog that is cared for, and trained correctly by a decent human being who is NOT a bad-

gangsta

/idiot is MORE LIKELY to behave well.. but that's not the issue here. the issue is that there is something inherently in the pit bull nature, that has been bred into them for generations.. that makes them MORE LIKELY to behave unpredictably.. 'snap' and attack. and when they DO attack, they seem to go into 'psycho' mode.. and once again, when they do... they're going to cause far more damage than most other dogs. these dogs were bred mostly to fight for money. and the 'snapping-going psycho' quality best suits a dog that you're going to fight for money, so they were bred specifically to encourage this characteristic.
but again, there are too many stories to count.. of nice people who have lovingly raised pits who would 'never hurt a fly',, and suddenly one day they go ballistic and attack another dog and kill it (sometimes another dog they live with, that's their best friend).. or a strange dog in public,, for no reason,, a child riding their bike down the street,, an old lady in her own yard, or even its OWN owner..... the list goes on and on and on and on and on.
