That's why I popped in. I am feeling for the families right now, they need supernatural strength to get through this.
Amen. I figured SG wouldn't miss this. He seems to struggling the most. I doubt there will be no impact on BK. He's one cold blooded killer.

Bryan Kohberger's sentencing hearing will begin at 9:00 local tomorrow (11 Eastern).

What to Expect:

Victim impact statements will be given by the families (we do know the Chapins do not plan to attend). It's possible the surviving roommates will also read statements, have an attorney or relative read them, or they may not say anything at all.

Following the victim impact statements, Kohberger will be offered an opportunity to speak. Due to the fact that his sentence is set in stone, there is absolutely no incentive for him to do so.

Following sentencing, Kohberger will be placed into the custody of the Idaho Department of Correction. He'll then be evaluated to determine where he is sent to prison -From what I can gather, this process can take weeks or months.

It's my hope and expectation that the state will hold some sort of press conference following tomorrow's proceedings. As for the defense, I'm not expecting anything other than a written statement.

No Contact? WOW.

If that is added then he'll probably lose his mind. Plenty of people can't cope with being in isolation like that. I don't know how Idaho prisons operate but I'm guessing the rules are pretty strict. The guards will probably find him easy to upset too.

Incel takes on a whole new meaning.
Your comment about being in isolation made me think that you mean total isolation, or no contact with anyone - but that is not the case.

The motion to extend at hand asks that all prior no-contact motions filed (which can be found here) be extended 99 years. For example, one previous order said no contact with one of the victim's fathers, and they later asked to add his wife and step-daughter to the order as well.

7/22/25

Kohberger’s sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday and will air on KIRO 7 and kiro7.com, starting at 7:45 a.m.

The state argues that, due to the severity of the crimes and the guilty pleas entered, the extended no-contact period is warranted.

This makes sense -- no reason for BK to ever contact the families of his victims! JMO

I am sure that everyone must know by now, but just in case, 9am MDT is 8am, Pacific, 10am, Central, and 11am, Eastern.. Also 4pm if you are in the UK, as I know some here are, and 5pm, I think, for @Dotta.

In an article released less than an hour ago, People is reporting that BK's team intended to "blame three victims' friends and a fourth person with no known ties to them" for the murders. They obtained a court order filed a few days before the plea agreement happened.

I wasn't clear. In the prisons I've known no contact refers to physical contact with visitors. Each prison has rules about it and each state abides by those.

Sorry for the confusion.

He'll probably stay alive if he is not allowed around other prisoners. Prisons are hell on earth for the long haul prisoners.

"Goncalves’ family said they want:

'a full confession,
full accountability,
location of the murder weapon,
confirmation the defendant acted alone,
& the true facts of what happened that night'."

"Bryan Kohberger

Planned to Blame Victims' Friends

for Idaho Murders Before Striking Plea Deal."

This really is despicable isn't it!
I wonder who's idea this was!?
AT and her team or HIM!?
As if those kids haven't been through enough! Back at the beginning, in the 38-40 days prior to LE announcing an arrest, every person even remotely linked with any of the 4 victims, innocent bystanders at the grub truck, people they spoke with that night (or ever) had their names sleuthed and ripped apart on social media. Fingers pointed, doxxed.. I imagine there are still some of these youngsters traumatized by that. How could they prove it wasn't anything to do with them whilst "Simon in Seattle" and "Dorothy in Delaware" attempted to convince people that these people were guilty!

I wonder if these 3 friends plus the non connected person could sue AT and co for something like deformation of character?

I feel so sorry for his family. no one wants to go through what they have. not saying that their trauma and grief is more than the victims families, but all these people have effectively lost loved ones. it has been said his sisters lost their jobs because of this? is that right? how can that be legal?
Imagine that time of night & WOW—-SWAT etc is cruising through ur doors and windows. The element of surprise is an understatement.

Is it possible BK asked if anyone else had been arrested because—in that moment—perhaps hearing his parents voices, being slammed and zip tied—-was he wondering if they were also arresting his family?

After all, he had driven cross country with his dad. And had numerous phone calls with his parents after the murders. I wonder how much his parents try to replay those moments in their heads for clues in retrospect?

Are BK’s parents expected to attend the sentencing?

I was wondering where we were going!

(I confuse easily as can be seen by my avatar.) 🙃
Startled me, too! Didn't help that I already thought today was the 20th and was surprised I was off a few days lol

If I were them I wouldn't be there. They can watch it from home. JMO
