Just wanted to tag this for @Arkay who wasn't able to view this in real time with us--recommend you view this one after you watch/read recaps of some of the more heartrendingly-sad impact statements (in particular, I was gutted by the statements by MM's grandmother--or, rather, Maddie's "deedle"--and MM's biological dad).

I read in the mass posts that were flying at one point that his Mother and one sister were in Court, but not his Dad. I don't know that to be a fact so I'll make that disclaimer now.

I was profoundly moved by the courage and honesty of all the speakers, but AG's I thought was the most profound, followed by her father. AND Judge Hippler! He is man of the hour. What an exquisite closing comment.

We noticed Bill Thompson getting choked up, but the judge was using a lot of Kleenex. I think he was moved as well. God's peace to all of them. OMO.

I'm divided about whether he should be in solitary or gen. pop.
In GP, he wouldn't be able to get away from a person with a grudge against him ?

In solitary he may go nuts from not having anyone to listen to his drivel.

I am so proud of the surviving victims of the felon. They comported themselves well today. They were brave, they were strong, they were vocal, and they did an excellent job with their impact statements.

I hope BK enjoys his obscurity as prisoner number [whatever # he is assigned} and as they wish, he is forgotten, never to enjoy the infamy he so clearly craved when he stole the futures from these kids.

I don't think BK has any remorse, just anger at being caught. Making no statement was intentional, as he would never apologize, and doesn't feel he owes any explanations to the families. And so this case ends here, and I am glad that justice was served. I just truly hope he doesn't gain more fame from cooperating with true crime authors or analysts.

The judge will have to wait out the 30 days he gets to decide if he wishes to appeal and by doing so renege on his plea deal, if he still chooses not to appeal the Judge and prosecution and defence can start to work out what is released to the public that has been hidden by gag order,
A lot of things will need to be removed from documents such as addresses, cell phone numbers, medical information pertaining to Brian Kohberger or any witnesses
I am impatient to see all documents related to DNA and FGG

So, do i understand correctly that BK has 30 days to re-think the plea deal and change his,mind and

On our local news KTVB 7, the Goncalves son is speaking; heavily criticizing the prosecution. He is going through other cases of BT, citing how there have been plea deals and families have not got justice.

Visitors, yes, but there are no conjugal visits in Idaho.
