speculation -
There's an ex NY cop who demonstrated how easily a perp can use a sheathed Ka-Bar as a blunt-force weapon. ( Cop held the sheathed handle and used side-ways, clubbing motion) The MPD confirmed ' only one weapon, Ka Bar', so surely the 'striped' injuries are from that.

if that's how this went down then he wasn't quite ready to use the knife when Kaylee was roused from sleep? He could have been doing something to disturb/ wake her?

I have seen descriptions of Maddee’s room, and that her double bed was turned with one side against the wall. Maddie was on the side near the door, Kaylee was between Maddie and the wall.
He would have taken the sheath off before entering the room- to save time.
If his intention was blunt force trauma- all of them would have blunt force trauma and he would not have brought a knife.

If this setup is true- he attacked Maddie first. He may have incapacitated Kaylee while he attacked Maddie. If he was on top of Maddie- Kaylee may have awaken and sat up. And he hit her in the face? What I don’t know is which way the bed was facing- was Kaylee to his right or left. Is BK right or left handed?
If Kayle was on his right he did a back swing and hit her with the butt of the knife in the face if she sat up. Or he came down with the butt of it on her while she lay down.
He would not have had to change his grip, if he had gloves with texture they gripped onto the leather handle- made to soak up blood
That knife has a large guard- to keep his hand from slipping down off of the handle to the blade
I don’t know where his body was- he had to be up over them, parallel to them, or the angle is wrong for the organs that were hit.

MM, KG, and XK show similar planned stab wounds to the torso- WARNING HERE
He did an upswing from his waist with the blade facing up, tip angled up, then pulled up and out
This means the blade went up under the rib cage and into the chest cavity- under the ribs
This would hit lungs, liver, and possibly the heart, aorta- maybe even to back of rib cage
The knife has a 7 inch blade and if he missed ribs he is only in soft tissue. Nothing to slow it down
That is why it was so quick, and so bloody

Kaylee was also stabbed into her subclavian artery (under clavicle)- that is a major artery that comes off the heart and splits to each arm

That is three pieces of evidence supporting the nature of BK’s mother’s empathetic heart.

1) OpEd against capital punishment for Ted Bund
2) Poem for the children murdered at Uvalde
3) Sobbing during the victim impacted statements.

How does BK think, feel, and do what he does, knowing he is adding pain to his mother’s heart?
This makes the relationship between the two even more confusing.

The murderer’s mother, Mary Ann, wrote the letter about Ted Bundy and attended her son’s plea hearing and sentencing hearing.

The murderer’s father, Michael, drove with his son from Pennsylvania to Washington and back again, and he attended his son’s plea hearing.

The murderer’s older sister, Melissa (not her mom), wrote the Uvalde poem.

Finally, the murderer’s younger sister, Amanda, acted in a movie about a serial killer and attended her brother’s sentencing hearing.

I believe the murderer stole the iPhone of his older sister, Melissa, the only family member who attended neither the plea hearing nor the sentencing hearing of her brother. She may be the least shocked member of the murderer’s nuclear family.

According to the Moscow Police Investigation docs, the front of the house faced north, and Maddie’s bed faced east (so Maddie and Kaylee’s feet, not their heads, were near the bedroom door). As the officer looked into Maddies’s room, Maddie lay on the outside of the bed.

I do not believe he stopped to take the food; autopsy (stomach contents) results would confirm that.

Others have said the butt end of the knife probably was used on Kaylee. IMO he would have removed the knife before attacking anyone, as if you look at a picture of the knife in the sheathe, it would be awkward to hold as the leather sticks out beyond the handle.

apparently the striped injuries were described as coming from ' rounded object with stripes' ( This is what Ed Wallace said on 'Duty Ron ' after Steve Goncalves had been on Banfield describing the injury )

Ya, so he knew there was someone awake. Not sure if he thought Xana was yelling but if he maybe saw her in the doorway/stairwell he might've known it wasn't her if yelling the voice came from downstairs more.

So possibly knew there was yet another one downstairs as well and maybe had something else on him to use (light/popping sound thing) with the knife.

No idea. It could've been brass knuckles or his fists as someone mentioned. The million dollar question is what that bright light/pop sound was as it's so bizarre.

I did find this LED Incapacitator thing but unsure if they're easy to buy. I feel LE would have found possibly what he bought already unless he stole one. Did any of his classes have any LE type props students were allowed to access?

If it was a xerox, I wonder if the original image was white or a cut out but when the copy was made, it became black (because there was "nothing" to copy, therefore it filled in the image with toner/ink)?

For those of you who may wish to no longer refer to the murderer by name, or even by initials, and I have seen many here, I feel you, and decided after sentencing, that, for me anyway, I will now only refer to him by what he will be known by for the rest of his life, if he remains incarcerated in Idaho, which I think is very likely.

For me, the killer will forever more just be known as IDOC# 163214. That is, until I choose to forget him completely. JMO

According to the lead investigator on the case, they believe that BK had not killed before. It was discussed during his interview on CNN.

This is as grotesque as his sisters acting role and the possible/probably influence this had on him. So this report says BK mother wrote a document about serial killer in 1999. Urgh he is revolting.

It’s like he was trying to be the subject of his families lives and experiences in the sickest twisted way.

The brief op-ed letter (if you can call 3 sentences a letter) that MAK wrote about Bundy's execution and people cheering the hearse was from Feb 16, 1989, five years before BK was born. I highly doubt he even know his mom wrote it, it's not like she would have framed it on their wall. It's just one of those ironic, sad coincidences/trivia bits in their family's life.
