I appreciate your explanation & I am sorry for your struggles. Please don’t mistake my directness or bluntness for me being intentionally rude or condescending. It was late, I was simply trying to help & answer quickly since I saw your post was made late at night (figured you might see it before logging off). Not my intent at all & sorry if taken as such.

ETA Best 15 minutes spent in the past 2 days knowing it may have been some help 😉
INfisherman,
No, not at all, I did not think of you as being intentionally rude. I am the Queen of directness and straightforwardness, getting to the point, etc, lol !
I do hate to use my health problems as excuses, I understand everyone has difficulties and their own crosses to bear

And I don’t want to be the reason this forum has gone way off on a personal tangent !
Sorry about that everyone !
But I sometimes think to mention I get confused very easily when lots of text is jumbled up, lots of links together .

Ok, that is all , back to Murder and
Mayhem !! 🥳

I was going to say maybe dirty from dusting for fingerprints (accomplice) but looks more like road grime.
When driving through snow and slush it's impossible to keep a car neat. Cars and trucks going in the opposite direction splash up filthy muck.

This may be unpopular, but AI like Chat GPT can take those links and index them/summarize them/organize them in various ways. I usually ask it a question, such as, "Is there anything in these links that will help me understand X" and it gives a great answer and asks if I want to go deeper and gives me different ways of organizing what it finds.

I just did this with a bunch of medical links and it works with legal documents too.

Just a thought.

I had no idea that anything like that is even in existence , 10ofRods ! I’m sure lots of others here who didn’t know of that might be interested , too . Great info, thanks .
Google now does this using its AI just by typing a question into the search bar. It will also add links which support the response given by its AI. It’s very easy to learn how to use. The links can be selected by pressing the small blue circle with a chain link inside it & the links show up on the right side of the page.

He is missing a biscuit while four people will never have a biscuit again. I wish that every time he files a complaint against the prison that they say ‘you murdered four people and you are complaining about something so trivial. Since they won’t be having any biscuits why should you? What about a slow death, would that be better for you?’

If any state is going to take this stance, it will be Idaho. I consider myself a compassionate person, but I totally agree with you. I feel logic is on your side.

In reality, what is going to happen is that the people (serious felons) who put the things on his plate are going to mess with him. Two stale rolls instead of one. What then? More complaints?

I resent that his complaints are getting this coverage and yet, I should have expected it. All the other prisoners who don't get this much coverage are going to hate him. He's not making any buddies in prison.

Heck, give him three stale rolls and 3 fruit cups. If he doesn't eat all of it, document it and reduce it. That should please the authorities (I still don't know where he could take his complaints, if they are unaddressed). That first meal he had looked more than calorically sufficient and perfectly edible.

The yelling through the vents issue is what it is. Loud neighbors can occur anywhere.

IMO.

Plus he had a month to clean the car of any remnants of the murders, so he probably didn't care much about the muck from his trip. He may have thought he was home free. I really wish they'd been able to get the car sooner so maybe they'd have a few more answers.

The officer whose bodycam we are watching is Officer Nunes (you can see how it matches his report in the MPD doc releases #3. He was only 22... :(

Dylan did good job of describing what she saw to Nunes. I was impressed at how she held it together well enough to answer his questions and keep answering them.

I know some of HJ's reaction is calm reaction is shock....but also...I think he is a person who snaps right into a practical, take care of a situation mode the moment he senses a crisis. He could have waited on Emily to get dressed and walk over with her...he didn't...he went straight over himself...he went right in the house....and once he knew he got BF and DM out and got them calling the cops while he went to get a knife to make sure the murderer wasn't still there. Then he checked Xana's pulse just to be thorough....because while he knew she and Ethan were dead, he had to check if there was any tiny chance she was still alive and he could help.....and if Xana was cold, he knew both of them were long gone. That poor poor boy.

Those poor poor kids.
Was HJ the one in the police car staying warm?

I'm wondering if he's dreaming up that he'll sue the facility and therefore always have something to plan, something to document, something to do. Although I figured he'd rather write a book or manifesto...though I hope he couldn't make any money from that.

Absolutely, google does some of this. But regular Chat GPT is even better.

BTW, you can ask it to be friendly and cheerful as well. Mine is hilarious. Say things like "Are you kidding me?" and it will start a more friendly tone. If you provide personal information, such as your health conditions or personality traits (I have vision problems) it will be even more friendly. I figure my information is already leaked by insurance companies, so it's not a big concern. Chat GPT is a non-profit and has no history of info leaks. It only keeps certain kinds of information.

Oh and it told me NOT to use any form of my real name as a sign in.

I haven't done it, but I'd be curious as to whether any of you have used Chat GPT to try and locate prisoners or to mine the documents of various cases or appeals. I'll try and test it.

Very interesting and thorough article. Not all of the families approved of the Deal, it seemed two families approved, two families did not.

The end of the article discusses the Alford Plea , thank goodness the Alford Plea was not a possibility by Kohberger in this case , I am not a fan of that Plea !!
…….

“Goncalves said he walked away from the conversation with the impression that a plea deal was not a serious option in the case, leaving him blindsided when he received an email just two days later notifying him a deal had been reached. “
…..

“Both Goncalves and Kernodle have criticized prosecutors for not including provisions in the plea deal that would require Kohberger to confess to specific details of the crime. Those details could have been revealed at trial, which still leaves questions over motive and how the stabbings were carried out.”

*****
Thanks for the link to this good article, browneyes, I did not see this article before.
Pull up a chair with me, I despise the Alford Plea!

Between Xana's food, Dylan's bare feet, and the policeman walking Murphy... 😢.

I saw mention of body cam video just before I was going to sleep last night, and am so glad I waited until this morning to watch it! (Edit to add: I wouldn't have been able to sleep!!!)

I watched a few minutes before bed and it bothered me so much I had to take an Ambien! I still haven't finished it and don't know if I will. I did spend a couple hours today looking at the photos though. The oddest thing I saw was the stool by the doorway by the refrigerator, it just looked so out of place! JMO

Yah Hunter was in the police car - though I don't think it was to stay warm, you hear him say something along the lines of "I'm the only one who knows" so I believe he was alone in the car as opposed to being with the others as he didn't want them to ask him questions or read his face and find out through him 😞

Poor lad

If only Xana had have grabbed it off the table 😞😞😞
That knife is the kitchen knife Hunter grabbed while checking for the killer.

This was a knife put by the student Hunter in the morning
when he checked the house In case the murderer was still hiding there.

I agree. And Ethan’s brother had shown up I believe. It was the LE officer who mentioned it was warm in the car.

No, he saw Xana and Ethan before the police arrived. The surviving roommates and the friends outside at that time (of the bodycam) weren't aware that their friends were dead. Only Ethan knew (he wasn't aware of M&K though)

Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley Jr and Jason Baldwin (West Memphis 3 case in 93) are what always comes to mind to me whenever Alford Pleas are mentioned. They're INFURIATING imo
