Back to the earbuds.

Is he talking to his mother endlessly while taking those selfies?

I feel like that’s more likely than him having them in constantly to listen to music. Ear buds always in awaiting mommy’s calls, always readily available for that.

Please don't misunderstand me, I know she must be devastated that her son slaughtered four innocent young people and also threw his life away ,but I can't help but imagine a part of her must be relieved to be free of his constant demands for her time attention. It would be completely understandable.
His constant calls to her made me feel suffocated just reading them.

I'm sure Father meant well, trying to find a friend for BK. I'm sure he thought that having a friend would be good for BK, help him fit in... but no friend is qualified that big an ask. And worse, had he been able to force a friend situation, it would only have opened up a new population for BK to stalk, new friend's female friends and relatives.

BK was only on WA for a matter of months and it sure looks like he didn't waste a minute of it sleeping. Instead he was stalking, peeping, creeping, STARE gazing, making women hide in bathrooms to avoid him. The one woman, calling her husband home. It's like BK was nowhere and everywhere. Lurking in the shadows.

Knocking on windows? Who does that? Upping the risk of being caught? Or wanting to see fear on the face of a woman, safe in her home, suddenly feeling very unsafe? Was that the thrill? The scare?

Common sense tells us that things that rustle in the back yard or go bump in the night are leaves and pipes and often we talk ourselves out of fear, rightly, because the statistics are low that this time, this night, this house, it's something else.

Except that sometimes it is.

It's what he lived for.

He was out from under his family FINALLY and look what happened.

His freedom was warped beyond comprehension.

Then he went home because he had to. He F’d up. No choice. He had to go home.

Appears to be not happy. He has to play by someone else’s rules and yet on Christmas Eve he’s out there, all in black, driving around AGAIN!

Sick and twisted.

There is more.

Wound. Distorted images. Coded messages. Weird.
Petty of me, but I was on the edge of my kitchen stool throughout this entire video hoping against hope not to see him wearing the beloved crimson and gray of WSU. He doesn't need to be defiling the colors of my alma mater. Grrrrr!! As it turns out, he did make it to the Bookie and got himself some merch, but at least the sweatshirt was (not so surprisingly) black.

I will be interested to see if any of you can decode the messages that he photographed along with his name and the date.

If someone has the will, can we get a list of the codes? Maybe we will see a pattern.

One thing I noticed is how his handwriting looks like a second grader. The date goes from huge to tiny, like if you were writing it inside of a megaphone shape. His name isn't much better. It is quite odd!

This murderer isn't a scary monster or the things of nightmares anymore, no boogieman. He's just skin and bones (literally) a 'Wannabe' just like Alivia Goncalves said in her Impact Statement. He's not smart, he's pathetic, common, ordinary, condescending, unemotional, rude and arrogant trying so hard to represent himself as something other than the true self HE knows he is.

He failed his mission miserably, notwithstanding his extensive Criminal Justice education. Now to spend the rest of his miserable days on earth in prison caged like the animal he pretended to be. Forever and ever. Not too bright there after all are we Mr. Toxic? <sorry Brittney>

Sadly 4 young adults...Maddie, Kaylee, Xana and Ethan lost their lives for his 'Experiment'. The surviving roommates, the many families and loved ones will suffer this traumatic loss for the rest of their lives. Empty chairs at the table, Graduations, Holidays, Weddings, gone forever from celebrating life's major milestones with people that genuinely loved and cared for them.

The murderer is a selfish coward and, again, like Alivia G said...if he hadn't have snuck into the house in the wee hours of the morning while they were all sleeping and defenseless, he would have had his f ing as s beaten down. <her words>

He's nothing to me anymore except a disturbed, selfish, uncaring failure of a human being. I won't look at another picture of him, it makes me physically sick to my stomach. I hope he fades away into the dark abyss of the prison system soon and the True Crime Community and Socials become bored with talking about and publishing every single thing about him.

His victims outshined any and everything that this murderer ever did or said. They are the ones who deserve to be remembered, not this loser.

Bye Bye, Bry 🤬 <for the last time>

I'm not alone in thinking that he was proving his identity, oriented to time and space, via a time stamp and a verification code.

And he had to redo it daily. Appears from the photo dump, he anticipated ahead too. Just waiting on the numerical date and new code.

I wonder if BK had a habit of signing in under multiple names, emails, VPNs and it messed with his passwords, messed with his ability to remember them from one day to the next. Or if it was more purposeful than even that.

I question it, either way.

If this is considered all very fascinating, the question is why leave the evidence behind? Part of my brain thinks he wanted to be caught and studied, be considered important and relevant. He's NOT.

He may have hidden a lot of things but he left a lot of things out. I'm not sure but he seems to be toying with the process. JMOO

He routinely scrubbed his devices. Except for a bandaid and a wound, maybe he didn't think they were evidence of anything. Assuming he followed other people's social media, he may have thought selfies were the currency of the half-generation, never clued into the social aspect of selfies. They're meant to be shared; it's how Snapchat was born.

Just what exactly was his plan? Murder all the women who represented something to him, the 'something' not entirely identified?

He wanted a girlfriend? Or did he not-want-one but used that topic for a cover, perpetually looking, but looking not for prospects but targets?

His ideal woman -- of a type, unbroken, with good birthing hips, silent. Asleep, incapacitated, compliant. Like a good adult blow up doll.

Just how many women did he follow, stare gaze through their windows? It feels like 1122 King Road was his capstone... and what, those other houses, target practice? Just something to satisfy the urge while he gears up for his master crime? It's just so foul.

The way everyone else works at their studies, careers, relationships, investing time, layering effort and value. He is the antithesis to all that is good.

He is the face of death. He has the face of death.

Which he appeared to work at.

Haunting.

can someone post the messages here? I haven't seen them because I can't watch the video ... I tried but can't listen to her for 30 minutes ...

The selfies remind me so much of Russell Williams, who photographed himself extensively in women’s undergarments that he had stolen from prowling. Documenting himself and his secret life however he needs to, since the only people who saw the ‘real’ him were dead. They seem like posing trophies to me. That’s the vibe I get from BK.

BK planned to do something like this way back, before he moved to Washington. Maybe before he even knew he was moving to Washington. He bought the knife and the black ski mask before he ever identified and stalked those young women he killed. Somebody was going to be attacked.

I believe it was reported that American Psycho was his favorite movie? Was he obsessed with it? Did he see it at a young impressionable age and develop an "imprint" that's been with him constantly since childhood?

And I'd *love* to know: at what age did his parents know he was seriously disturbed & possibly fixated on murder in heinous ways?

Firstly, the paper with writing on - date name and code - looks to me to be a verification thing. Like Instagram for example in its account recovery asks you to post a dated selfie with account name and a one off code. I reckon it's something like that. Not necessarily Instagram as I'm sure a lot of other sites will do that form of verification if meta successfully does.

Secondly - WHAT.THE.HELLY.

Utter creepy Norman Bates like temu Bundy giving get some damn toothpaste CRINGE LORD

He's a complete mimic. Trying on his different people masks in front of a phone screen mirror with no top on, tensing and listening to Britney's 'criminal' through his ear buds like he's some sort of Patrick Bateman.

Remember the word AT tried to have banned from court? PSYCHOPATH - That's what this cringey ghoul of a felon is.

ROT.

Here's the thing-- is not how he looks, it's how he presents himself, that's what's so disturbing.

All the selfies, but shared with no one. At a time when he's spending HOURS a day, every day, talking to Mother. Practicing emotion, opting to look frightening as hell. He wears a hoodie like the Grim Reaper carries a sickle. Not an accidental reference either...

He was practicing his Face of Death.

WHO DOES THAT??????
