Plea or Tip? Will there be an arrest?

Well this is for another thread, but if bipolar I is the correct diagnosis, he could certainly have remorse.

The shrink evaluating him (the case of him molesting the 13 years old) found that he had none. If he had none in that case, why would he have remorse now?

And Dr. Carroll told the court that sex offenders who never accept responsiblity--or acknowledge their guilt--are unable to be rehabilitated. Why did it take Chelesa's murder for Amber to get the attention she deserved all along? I am not saying that too much was done in Chelesa's case, but more that it feels too little was done in Amber's and so many others. Makes you wonder if this creep the State of Calf let go, by allowing the Dept of Mental Health to IGNORE Jessica's Law gave up the goods, or the state wants to deflect attention of their actions by finally doing their jobs.

Sorry for the rant - but this is closure due to the parents and long overdue. When we can track a SO like a UPS package then maybe this will stop. Better yet - never let them out and we won't have to track them. Why do we as citizens have to stop life, and go to the internet to find out who is "registered" to live near our children. Why does their crime become our sentence? Why do they get life at the cost of Amber and all of us?

my vote is that he gave up the location. completely and all the way.


eta: he knows his semen-shedding-a$$ is toast. what does he have to lose now in telling what else he did as he will, until the end of his pathetic excuse for a life, be in a cage. I think he knows his time is up. perhaps LE said that any "compassion" he showed in helping find Amber could help his sentencing?

I think he probably told Amber's location basically because the area is so remote. I have also wondered if they found something belonging to Amber when they located Chelsea. I have wondered why they immediately thought JAG might have been connected to Amber's disappearance.

If this is true then Chelsea's blood is on their hands, had they had the courage to make an anonymous tip, Chelsea would be alive.

if anything the similar disposal will yield clues and a pattern (ie, Amber was obviously not found in a body of water but burried in some way, shape, or form, like Chelsea). And this park is certainly within the area and points that he traveled (ie, between Escondito and his Grandma's home)

suicide watch is usually automatic in these cases, nothing to do with the suspect involved, LE does not want a suicide on their hands in a high profile case.
While i don't think Amber could have been saved if local LE had acted properly, perhaps Chelsea could have been, if JAG had been looked at when Amber's parents were insistent that he should be questioned...was he every questioned? I know he was not properly registered but he was brought to LE's attention.
If someone else gave this location IMO they had to helped bring the body there, if the area is as remote as you who live in So. Cal say. That person should be facing tampering charges at the very least, but probably won't be, for bringing the info to LE (if connected to Gardner)
If not connected to JAG...well, that is another whole can of worms, means a whole separate predator, almost hope it is him.
I am relieved that Amber has been found, just hope they are able to build a case, it will be much harder a year after the fact.

Let's assume it had nothing to do with JAG. Who would know the killer, know the area and the precise location of the body, and who would be AFRAID to tell? Is it possible it was a kid who killed her? and one of their friends helped? Maybe the local kids hang around these remote areas--I know my boyfriend did growing up in Lake Elsinore. I can't imagine an adult keeping this to themselves for a year. Then again, why no arrests yet if it wasn't JAG and the body was found on Saturday morning?

my thoughts:


1)amber has been missing over a year and only since the recent arrest of "" have her remains been found (literally within days)

2)if "g" did not tip LE off to where her body may be perhaps a friend of his mentioned park areas that he frequented. I still have trouble coupling the exact remote location with a random hiker treading over it. huge problems with it/with buying it.

heck... I don't know what I am exactly saying.. but I do indeed smell a fish

Things happen when the case is on the news, as Amber was because of Chelsea's case.

Obviously the person who told authorities where the body was located either is the killer or knows the killer. Why then has no one been arrested? This information came to them either on or before Saturday morning? In my mind, there can be only 3 reasons, the perpetrator is dead, already in jail or lives on the reservation--I'm not sure if local police have the authority to arrest someone on the reservation.

Sometimes police have a suspect but it takes them a while to collect/present evidence.
